Okay, I now see that the 50% reduction in price was shown on the VENDOR'S page but not specifically referenced when a customer pays, and I think that's where all the confusion is coming from. If you happen to miss the "50% OFF" on the vendor's page, you expect to see your total, MINUS 50% of what your total bill comes to, at Checkout. I've now paid the bill but wan't very happy doing so. :o/

also please note if you have items in your cart, you may need to remove them and then put them back with the updated pricing. Sorry for the trouble!
I just had the same problem and did what you suggested. I put everything in my Cart back into my Wishlist again and went through the whole procedure again. Still, NOTHING reflected any discount at all. Do you have any other ideas?

Yes, I agree that Barry, in particular, has been very helpful to me over the years. E-On as the marketing tool, has not. My irritation stems from the fact that I was very excited over upgrading recently to Vue Complete 2016 which I think is a marvelous piece of software. It literally has no competition that I've been able to find anywhere. But it's like buying a hot new sports car and suddenly having all the gas stations shut down for no visible reason - questions, speculation and even some irritation are to be expected and will continue until someone in charge starts talking about it.

Yes, well silence breeds my "idle and inaccurate speculation". All I want is the ability to access the products they offer for sale right from my copy of Vue. Is that asking too much? I see a nice tree and click on it to use in my work but all I get is that same blank "Maintenance" page. I don't think I'm being unreasonable. I'm 66 years old and would like to be able to use the software before I die of old age!

I agree completely. There is no good reason for their total lack of an explanation or even a simple response to their loyal customers. I have been using Vue for many years now and I always promote them to anyone who asks. Now I feel like a liar to every customer I've pointed their way.
What happens if I build a new computer? If the server is down, Vue reverts back to the PLE version without even the ability to save renders. "Not a good look" is an understatement!

Hi wabe, I had Vue Complete 2016 crash on me today and the crash report window popped up asking what I was doing when it happened. I wrote a careful explanation and sent it off,but it was immediately stopped with an error message telling me the site could not be reached.

Okay, so here we are well into 2018 and as a longtime user of Vue, I have to say that I'm angry that they have not said a thing to users about why their site has been down for weeks now. Both E-On and Cornucopia still say they are 'doing site maintenance' and will be up in a few hours. This is unacceptable treatment to customers who depend on being able to purchase the items shown in the library. I just upgraded to Vue Complete 2016! WHERE ARE YOU?? -Stephen.
Thread: Is there any software that can import a vue scene? | Forum: Vue
Vue is a toolset like any artist's toolset, containing the digital 'brushes' and 'paint' that I use to create things. To say that I cannot sell what I've created is like saying that an artist who creates an oil painting cannot sell it because it is owned by the paintbrush manufacturer; or that a carpenter can't sell a cabinet he's built because the rights to the final object are owned by the saw and hammer manufacturers! As silly as that sounds, it is what E-on is doing.

I once asked E-on about using Vue to create models that I could sell on Renderosity. It shouldn't be difficult using simple privitives (cube, sphere, cylinder, etc.) to build what I was thinking of. Their answer? "NO! That would be illegal! We own the rights to those." I told them that Leonardo daVinci would be upset to know that he had been using items owned by E-on in all his designs and paintings. Who knew they owned the design for a cube or a sphere? Anyway, I just let it slide and never did sell anything I made - probably what they were hoping I'd do.

Yes, I do get the impression that we are talking only high-end software. Personally, I'm still back at Vue 8 Pro Studio. I would love to be using the latest Studio but for me, the prices are prohibitive. Someday, maybe... ;o)

That's excellent! I had no idea!
This is the first I've ever heard about any program but Vue that can use Vue stuff. I suppose it's mainly because Vue is actually running at the same time. I mean, you can't create a Vue object and then import that later when Vue is not running, can you? It's more like a bridge from XSI, right?

No, Vue has always been excellent when it comes to importing. I use Poser quite a bit and Vue is the perfect partner for it. I create figures in Poser and build a world for them in Vue. It would just be nice if it worked the other way too. :o/

Even with the Export Module? I use Vue 8 Studio and it says that you can export fully textured meshes. I don't have it because the price is so high but always thought it would work!
