Thread: exploding polygons??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had the same problem using Lightwave to make morphs. I get around it now by killing (not deleting) all the polygons (leaving just the points) before exporting. Works fine for me. dAeve

Happens to me all the time. I usually reboot my PC and that will usally work, but not always. I use 3D Exploration to convert it if all else fails. You can grab a demo at www.righthemisphere.com daeve

Very nice. You must be going to school for this if this truly is your first. One queston, though. Why so many polys in the spine? Metaguchi (using daeve's account)
Thread: BVH MoCap files | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The above mentioned www.characteranimation.com has 2 freebies, updated once in a while, from their "MegaMoCap" product. You could also download the free demo of Credo Interactive's LifeForms 3.9, with might come with some, if not you can make your own with it. Metacreations (remember them?) has an old product called "Dance Studio", which you can make your own BVH files. You can find that one in the discount bin for about $10. Also available on-line for $5-$20, depending where you look. If you have 3D Studio Max's Character Studio, it comes with about 50 BVH files that work fine in Poser. And if you REALLY want to dig around, try a search for "BioVision". They're the chaps who came up with BVH files in the first place, and there are a few freebies scattered about the net. You really have to look hard to find any BVH files, though if you spend enough time looking you'll find something. I searched for about 5 hours last week and ended up with about 20 new ones. Thread: Looking for this particular hair style for Victoria | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Use the hair that comes with LinLin (free figure - GREAT figure - forget where to get her, sorry). The bangs are identical to the picture, no pony tail though. If you add a pony tail it will work but some of her original hair will still drape over the front of her shoulders. LinLin is a p4 character but the hair can be sized for Vicki, as with all of Kozaburo's masterpieces. Daeve
