"merchants put their promotional images in front of our eyes daily" This is very true, but some o dem merchants are sneekier than the rest, the normal Poser forum is filled with merchant advertisements in disguise. Not trolls but trawlers perhaps? Anyone seen latley any merchants that are so helpfull that they are one of the first to post giving examples of what seems to be the problem using their newest or upcomming creation to explain? Or branded logos on tutorials which happen to be for the same area of interest as the current merchant product.

I had the same thoughts a few days ago. There was an anouncement which was listed as amazing or exciting (I cant remember which) Either way I thought it was just mildly interesting. An individual posted similar thoughts to myself to this thread and instantly was called a troll and an argument insued. Boy was I glad it wasn't me posting my thoughts, and I thought it a disgrace that you are not allowed to be non-plussed. Some people dont seem to realise that there are pesamists and optomists out there and not everyone is taking prozac to keep up the happy face. Happy, happy, joy, joy

Cath, thank you for your efforts in showing us guys who dont have P6 yet, what it can do. But can we see the effect of the lighting without specular and shadowing on the origonal image you projected. One thing I really cant stand is when the sheen is panted onto a texture as I have purchased several sets which have the specular on the colour maps which is pointless, as it will never dissapear! Another problem is when merchants have contours on the skin, which when the object is rotated dont look right from the side as the geometry does not match. Each time this happens I feel cheated as I could have projected any texture of myself on from the front and it look great and perfectly realistic, Please dont take this badly but I find it is very hard to tell what exactly poser is contributing to your maps. But I really like the look of the character, will you be selling it as a pac when finished?

So if i have a scene file with a female child fully clothed wearing a tube top or similar and i choose to zoom in on the face for dramatic effect and the tube top will be croped out, this would break the TOS because it looks like shes got no clothes on. What the .? Maybe Rendo Admins should go back to the drawing board and revise these new TOS just cutting some slack or tying it down a little. People will be afraid to post anything for fear of being banned. Huh have a think about it guys! hey maybe the owners of rendo are working their way up to a full hijab for all renders of women (no chance with all that pornography here) or maybe they are just fans of Marcel Marceau and feel the need for child imagery to be displayed in a typical mime way (heads, feat and hands only, with blacked out body) or maybe its just a filter effect removing all imagery of children = more naked images of victorias breasts. yahooo! not.

In the spirit of this post, I too have removed the image posted so that noone can make judgements based upon a single image to the authenticity or originality of Virus wings. ~Dag~
