Somebody owns the rights to the likeness' of these people, but not necessarily the people involved.

Sorry, can't help on the 3D model front, but there was a Princess of Mars film released (or perhaps escaped would be a better word) in 2009. Straight to video job I think starring Traci Lords.

I've seen a few requests for a Poser ready one over the last couple of years. It looks like a lot of work, but perhaps a modeler here would be up for producing a reasonably priced one - I know I'd buy it.

Turbosquid have a few really good quality ones, running anywhere from $50 -$200. For 3D studio Max I think, but perhaps they could be converted.

"God only uses one light" But he doesn't half bounce it around a lot...
It's possible to overdue things, but sometimes people are simply trying to make up for the rederer not being that great with reflected or bounced light.
