Thread: Poser 6 and Mac OSX 10.4 (tiger) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Poser6 is not compatable with 10.4.x. You have to install the service release. That seems to take care of the problem.
Thread: osx tiger and poser4/5 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have had this problem. Never had a problem with Poser5 on 10.3.8. Since upgrading to 10.4 neither Poser5 or 6 work at all. After writing notes to both, I was told that I need to wait for the upgrade for both the OS and Poser. Frustrating to say the least. Stick with 10.3.9 until the upgrades are in place. I'm sorry that I did not!

Thread: Problem with Mike and Vickie 3 Morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had the same thing happen. This may or may not help. I re-installed V3.All of the icons were there in the folders but they were empty. Daz put them up for me to download again (which I did) and that did not help. I tried several times to no avail and the icons were still empty. This did work... I installed V3 to the desktop and installed the parts into poser5 by hand. Hope this helps you!
Thread: C4Pro Transposer Reads Bump Maps Incorrectly | Forum: Carrara
Same problem. Set the bump in Poser to anywhere from .01 to .03. That has cured the problem for me.

Thread: Need Guru Help! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you for all of your help. Karen and the rest...First I made the face in the face room and applied it to the Judy model. Hence, in the material room I worked with that, ignoring the original head. Thinking about it,I gave the original head the same settings as the other one. Now, in rendering in P4 settings I get "nubs" where the eyelashes should be but in firefly I still get nothing. Now, if I could find a way to lengthen them I might have the problem partially solved. Is there something I should look for in the firefly settings? I did try setting to zero and I do get a solid, so it does indicate that the lashes are still there and yes I did check to see if the transpariency was selected properly. Thanks to all for taking the time to make suggestions. jayhawk

Yes Karen I do. I have tried all kinds of combinations with the lashes. As I said, I can see the transparency dots before I render but can see no lashes at all after it is rendered. I have them colored as black right now but have tried all different colors, including texture strength. It is quite frustrating because there is no info in the manual at all. I cannot find anything on CL website either. Thanks for the reply. If you can think of anything else, I would appreciate it.

Yes, I had the same thing happen. It seems to be better if you keep the render size to no larger than 640x480. It worked for me that way.

Have to agree with you Mark...I was quite impressed with it too! It was one of the first things I played around with when I received the beta version of C3. One question...what did you use to generate the grass? It looks really neat.
