Has anybody ever noticed that no matter what spam you get, even the ones from so called "Executives" have a yahoo email addy?? I mean puuuleeease....what executive of a supposed multinational bank or large corporation would suffer through a yahoo email address when they can, I'm sure, afford a private one??... I have to agree that they're getting smarter, but if you check the return email address they always mess up...either they spell things wrong or expect everyone in the world to believe that very very wealthy executives would resort to yahoo.

I think we should start a collection of the worst spelled spam emails...could be a profit in that :o) heehee or we could spam incomprehensible emails back at them...telling them that they've won a years supply of dog food.. I have a thing called Mail Washer and it gives you the option of blacklisting the spam and bouncing it back at them... makes them think that your email is not in service. (I still kind of like the idea of spamming the spammers though..)

I don't usually get into these types of discussions but I seem to be having spam issues as well. It has happened in the past usually with the email (private) that i use only on Renderosity. In the last week, as one poster stated, I'm probably worth as much as Bill Gates too as the amount of money I seem to have inherited is amazing...millions usually $50million a pop...and at approx 20 emails a day, I've either won (lottery) or inherited an astronomical amount. I decided to try something a couple of days ago and changed the email address I use on Renderosity to one that is a web based email. Haven't had one spam email since. Even on the web based email. I use Mail Washer as well, have Windows Vista Home Premium running Defender, Trend Micro PCCillin 2007 (continually updated) and have just installed Ad-Aware 2007, the newer version to Ad-Aware SE that I'd been using for over 2 years with constant updates as they became available. (this 2007 version came out on 6th July according the LavaSoft website), so I'm pretty heavily protected. I'm not angry just curious that whenever I change the email I use here to a web based server, I never get any spam on it or my private email address. I'm open to suggestions as to this anomaly. :o) Oh and my browser is Mozilla Firefox 2.0.

thank you for replying so quickly. I quite honestly did not see that notice but I'm sure it was there as you say. And now, looking at the top of this dialogue box, guess what I can see.... Perhaps my observations are not what they used to be. I put it down to old age.

I really appreciate all the help to those who offered suggestions. I haven't been contributing much to the gallery or the forums of late so I've probably missed a lot of changes. I will make a note to be more observant in future. Thank you all very much. regards, shemia

Maybe it was the way I said it, but I only previewed the image, not uploaded it and the only image I've uploaded lately was in December 2006 so I don't understand why it would tell me I've reached my upload limit when nothing is showing in my gallery that I've recently uploaded anything at all... it's very frustrating. I just wanted to post a Poser image in my gallery, I'm usually very  careful reading instructions etc... so that I was sure I'd only previewed not uploaded. Is there a glitch in the system? Of course it wouldn't be me that has the problem...:rolleyes:

Hi Stacey, sorry to bring something else up as well to add to the sites woes, but when I go to my homepage and click on the "Shemias Gallery" link under featured images, it takes me straight to the normal gallery, not my gallery. Would you be so kind as to look into this as well. I am also having the same problem as thefixer. My homepage doesn't show my featured images, just little red x's....and no matter what I do, re-upload etc.,, it makes no difference. Thanks for all your hard work though.

I've never received enough comments on any of my images for me to be concerned that I don't have time to reply to all of them. I'm happy with the comments I do get though and I make a special effort to send a quick IM to whoever comments just to say thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. Under my most recent image I said something about leaving a comment if you would like to..and forgot to tick the box that allows commenting. It was late at night and I went to bed straight after. I had several IM's about the problem, fixed it, send IM's to the commenters that it was fixed and put a comment of my own under the image to apologise and was pleasantly surprised when all of them reposted...I have a couple of hundred views of the image now and I think my efforts to IM people thanking them paid off. I know this is just one instance, but I don't think a lot of people are offended by IM's saying thank you. I've had some lovely replies to my thank you's as well so personally I think it's a nice gesture. And yes, I do go visit their galleries and quite often leave comments. Helen.

Awwwww this is just so darned cute...it made me smile. Excellent texturing...I intend on checking this out and I haven't even thought of buying the Mill Baby 3. It's amazing how textures can sell a product isn't it? Great work Stephanie.

I don't usually post in threads like this because I normally have no idea what I'm talking about. But I found a site that I thought might be helpful to either Maqnatude or someone who was interested. Try: http://www.steelfalcon.com/Macross/mmd-faq.shtml It seems to have some pretty good schematic drawings if this is what you want. All I did was type in Schematics for Mecha in Google and there were several sites that looked good. I hope this was helpful.

This is just gorgeous. I've been a bigger fan of Aiko 3.0 than I was for V3. The only problem was that there were not enough clothing, hair packs etc., that really stood out. I've bought several different outfits for Aiko just lately but this one is just amazing. Can't wait to get it in my hot little hands. Amazing job! I think it will do really well in the MarketPlace and I think there should be more "Dark Designs" / "Goth" styles for Aiko....love the stuff.

I have to say tim that for me (can't speak for anyone else) it's much faster and once I get used to it a bit more, I think personally it's better than before so thank you for all your help. I just have to remember to scroll back up and click "Close Window" to get back to the thumbs as each image now opens in a separate window. It saves time so I'm happier,thank you again, from me.
