Both photos are great however if you really feel that they don't show enough of the total mask then why not make a series of shots, for example maybe three one of each side and one central shot?

Ok, i was just thinking it might be something to think about. I've been wanting to get more active here and meet more people, which might be done easier if there were groups of people brought together by more focused interest. Thanks for the support and for helping find out more Best Regards Chris

Thread: When I Vote..... | Forum: Photography
Very well said! claps I agree, same here, when i vote it's not always because an image is so good, sometimes it's because you can see someone has put in a lot of effort and came out with something that's not all that bad. You just appreciate or admire the time they take to do these things. Some photography for example, taking photos isn't the hardest of things its more the creativity that makes photography something great. If for example someone had to do something incredibly stupid and dangerous to take a shot i admire the fact that they did it just for the viewing pleasure of other people. the other thing with art is there are no boundaries to what is percieved as a great art piece. Almost every individual has a different way of percieving things for the first or second times, even the third time you look at something you might be compelled in a different way. Art is how you express yourself, there is no greatest artist, there are only great 'artists' how can you judge something so extensive. Greetings Chris

don't say that, like you said personal taste, don't put your taste down because someone else disagrees, personal preference is what i'd call it ;) Artists vary in their thoughts and ideas, that's what seperates and makes us individuals. Cheers

yes that was just an example of size difference. When i resize they re-size in a % ratio but they always look distorted or blurred. There is a file type that when an image is shrunk it doesn't lose pixel information. I thought it was a TIF file but i still have the same problem. When you re-size a JPG image the file throws out pixels which it finds unnecessary. That causes a distortion. It just irritates me cos i have really crisp fine images but when i re-size them the quality is so badly damaged. I'm not gonna put up a 2000x1800 image on here cos like less than half of it is shown on the screen, well with most screen resolutions that is. Thanks anyway for the advise. Much appreciated. Greetz Chris

Thanks, yes it was a little more tilted in the begining but i've began to like the angle at which it sits, it sorta counteracts the other straight and uniform lines, don't you think? Cheers

lol Great shot! Are they manequins or did you manip the image? B/W was definetly the right choice here. Greetz Chris
