Thread: Still Have a long way to go !! | Forum: Community Center
I always save everything as a tiff file because it loses NO quality whatsoever upon resaving and resaving and it is universal for PC and Mac. Once I am ready for posting I then save it as a jpeg so the file will not be so big, but I still keep the original tiff file for myself in case I wish to use it again at a future time. Unfortunatly this takes up almost as much room as Poser files, they're huge!! Every once in a while I have to unload my files onto CD's to get back my hard drive space. If you want to retain your quality image, tiff all the way, it's a standard. ~3D ;-)

Thread: Millie- what do YOU think? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It is better to have Millie, (with all her suggested flaws), than to have no Millie. I think we can at least agree to that don't you think? Whether she appeals to some and is hated by others we should be delighted that we have something new to work with. Considering all the throwbacks in the 3D departments of late, (ie Metacreations ditching Poser etc...), we should be thankful for places like Zygote that still continue to offer us such wonderful material, being perfect or not! And the fact that some intelligence other than just Zygote's went into this figure makes it all the more appealing to me ;-)

And before anyone here jumps to any conclusion and thinks that I had anything to do with the creation of this character, YOU WRONG!! But I KNOW the person that did, and for "him" I have the uptmost RESPECT and ADMIRATION for everything he has done for us and continues to do! And the mere fact that he had his hand in the outcome of this model makes her very valuable to me!! If you all could see and understand what I know, you would be quick to judge her differently I am sure. Nuff said from me, I will no longer dwell on this topic. Have a nice day all ;-)

Criticism is valuable, I agree! IF it is indeed warranted! Not something you will know in such a short time. Give it a chance, I am sure once folks actually work with her instead of analyzing her they will begin to see the attributes! ;-)

I am sure we ALL know you meant well Ikyoto! You have always tried to help the forum members. To err is human, we all make mistakes, even if we are just trying to do something for others. Take care.... ~3D ;-)

Please give this model a chance? I believe we can use all the variety we can get in Poser and this is a bonus if you consider the possibilities!! Everyone is quick to complain without considering the whole picture! In a months time we may all look back and wonder how we could have possibly given this character any flames? Yes, we will need more morphs and yes we will probably need some clothes, but NO one has "taken away" all the other posettes and characters?? This is but one more option, and OPTIONS is something we can ALL use around here BIG TIME!! We cannot just go by what we view, we need to "see" the model as a whole and if you look upon her this way you to will find that she does have a LOT of attributes once all of this settles. We can't just sit back and mock this creation without even considering just what went into it and realizing some of the positive outcome of this. Are we going to start to tear apart everything new that comes our way that is not "perfect" to our standards?? I respect and admire the "work" that went into this model and I plan to work with it before I start casting my stones. ~3D ;-)

Set your rendering to cartoon mode! Transparent hair shows up in that state. This is great for posing and setting up the hair or anything else that is transparent. As long as you don't mind seeing everything in cartoon form till you get the Transparency right? Works for me?? ~3D ;-)

Thread: Adobe Photoshop VS. Adobe Photoshop, and in this corner is version .....?? | Forum: Photoshop
Hey, thanks for posting!! I must tell you that I am very, VERY impressed with your work, your CREATIONS!!!! I have been meaning to e-mail you but haven't had the opportunity as yet so I am glad to be able to tell you here! Very impressive!!! ;-) Now, getting back to Photoshop, I understand what your saying however, having never started working in Photoshop till version 5 but hearing an awful LOT about the earlier ones from co-workers and such, I'm not really sure if I would be very comfortable without all those newly added undo options??? That, coupled with a few other general improvements, is what made version 5 worth upgrading to for a lot of Artists. Now version 5.5 is a different story and I would tend to agree. ~3D ;-)
