I running my PC with Windows ME and played a long time with the demo of Vue4. I had so many crashes... Now, 'cause I trust E-On, I've purchased the Vue4, installed the 4.03 patch, created a scene, and it's still calculating (120 hours rendering estimated time !!! there is more than 250 lights). I still have no problem...

Thanks, MS-Outlaw, it will probably come sooner than you'll expect ! :-) Thanks MikeJ, patching to 4.03 was the first thing I did, even before looking at the 'extras' CD. I installed it, and, for this moment, I had no trouble... Now I can play !!! Thanks Sharen, can we do something but loving this software ? :-) (Is that good english ? :-/) Good news : I'm re-working my "rain of stars" pictures, and it's a real pleasure to work on it and to SAVE it ! :-)

Still using the demo, I never had crash loading any object format (3DS, VOB, OBJ, etc...). So, I don't think that the domo could be involved in your problem...

My only comment is that, using postwork must no be a goal, but a way of making what an artist has in mind. Yes, Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop are great tools that can create huge things, but we must really take care in using them. Being an art student, I agree with you, Zstrike, but with this formation, I learned to take care of easy effects... :-)
