Oh, dear. Well, I thought for sure the figure reference lines meant that the object itself was not in the cr2...or why would there even need to be a reference to an object file located elsewhere? Or so was my thinking. I will surely ask the DAZ folks, though. Thanks for noting this. Such a large distance from making your own stuff to use and getting to where you can share it with others. I suppose the Mover system would be the next way to go.

Buy it. You will have no regrets, except that you didn't buy it sooner. It is superbly crafted, marvelously easy to use as is, and perfectly suited to customizing. eng

Interesting effect, though. Maybe if you explained what you were doing, some bright soul here would probably be glad to set you straight. eng

I can't quite decide what is worse about this: That conservative attitudes about--oh, just everything--should transform into oppression, rationalized in the name of morality. That pleasurable images, sexual and not, should suddenly become viewed as "nasty"--or worse--illegal. That Thorne should have bowed to the oppressive, conservative forces. That such bowing should be blamed on the oppressor. Just can't decide how to think about this. Of course child abuse is a bad thing. Of course woman abuse is a bad thing. But the overzealous application of censorship in the name of the above is abuse also. And surrendering to that abuse, as a creative adult, is, in a very real way, contributing to it. Children and adolescents are very sensual and quite lovely in many ways, artistic, engaging, and amazingly beautiful, both in and of themselves, and as a metaphor for our own beginnings, our own futures. Which, of course, has no more to do with child abuse than the average Shirley Temple movie. eng

Oh, thank you so much. That exactly did the trick! A few more tweaks and this will be ready to post in the free stuff. eng

Thank you, Marque. I couldn't find a catsuit there, either, but a whole bunch of Mike stuff to work with: Duster, open jacket....gold mine... Thanks again.

...and Ghastley's site would be where? Looked in the members' search. Tried to find through Poser Forum Online listings. Altavista, and so forth...after thirty minutes as close as I got was several dead links to Ghastley tutorials and a note about some problems with Xoom links... Pullleaase, a URL would be so nice.

I surely will, just as soon as I fix the ankles and wrists, put in a few wrinkles and figure out the pcf thingee. So much to learn, so little time.
Thread: Help - How do I create thumbnails with a transparent background | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Having read through the linked message, I don't find my method, so I'll pass it along. Make sure the catalog thingee is showing on the right side of the screen. Click on the background color selector of the main screen and move the arrow over to the one of the thumbnails that isn't selected (ie., that isn't highlighted). This will set the background to the same color as the thumbnail and it will disappear when you export image, import image as background, and then move the object out of the camera range before you add it to the catalogue screen. Turn off ground shadows is a good idea.

Usually this is a Windows problem. Open the fonts folder and delete all the Adobe fonts that you can...some of them are sometimes not deletable...and that usually clears up the problem. If it doesn't then you will need to go through and try to find the "alien" font that is showing up in Poser and delete it specifically, but usually the first fix works. eng
Thread: Interface corruption in Poser...Help? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you are in Windows, I'm assuming you are, you might try going into your fonts and deleting all the Adobe fonts that are deletable. This usually gets your windows fonts back in line. This is usually more of a problem with browser fonts, but it does seem to crop up in the Metacreations (or what used to be MC) software, too. eng

Try returning to only the original fonts that came with your Windows, or go into Start, Settings, Control Panel, Fonts and start looking for that large font that looks like the one Poser is trying to use. Then delete it. Back up your fonts first would be a good idea and be prepared for a long trial and error session if you've installed a lot of new fonts. Windows is not kind when you add new fonts. It can't seem to remember where the default font is. The other possibility is that you've installed Adobe reader and one of the Adobe fonts is responsible...same thing, go into Fonts and delete all the Adobe fonts that it will let you delete. eng
