Curious Labs, the makers of Poser do not officially support Mat/Mor or injection poses. They are discoveries made by advanced users that hacked Poser's file formats. You need third party utilities to create them... unless you want to learn how to text edit a Poser cr2 in order to save it as a pz2. Injection Pose Builder and Injection Magic create only injection poses (those poses that just load the morphs and their settings). There are free utilities in the Poser free stuff section to create Mat poses starting from a cr2. There are also commercial utilities i the Market Place too. If you use Poser 5 there is a free Python script to create Mat poses. You can find it in free stuff section too. For the injection pose check DAZ site under the software/utilities section and see what is best for you and your pockets :) There should be a free utility too, but I just can't remember at the moment sorry.

Yes, for facial expressions the best place is the face category. Also be sure not to save morph informations with the expression. This means that you should only use expression morphs to create an expression/emotion. If you by mistake save a expression pose that use (for example) the "Head Chimp" morph next time you use this pose on a character you will change not only his expression but his shape too.

The characters that use the morph injection system are a lot lighter as far as regards file size in their base version. Infact you are supposed to only use the morphs you need. It takes time to experiment with all the morphs, but at the end you'll be able to save the right settings as injection poses.

When you are satisfied with a character you created save the corresponding Mat/Mor pose so next time you'll just have to load the morphs you need and their correct setting with one click. DAZ sells a couple of utilities to create injection poses: Injection Pose Builder and Injection Magic.

If there is a insect like alien figure in that store then you are talking about the same zombie figure I put in my wishlist too. The only reason I hadn't made the purchase is that the hands look too low res compared to the rest of the body... I used the Clothes Converter and it works, but the problem is that your end result is a cr2 with no JCM and so you will have a lot of poke troughs. Do you know how to save a pose that only chang Joint settings? I wanted to try and scale and reposition a cloth and save it to the library for a different character, export the object and repoint to the new cr2 and apply the joint setting pose os say a david cloth to a M3 cloth. this should keep all the morphs of the original cloth working. would it work?
