One of the best things about Daz Studio 4.5 is that the Autofit tool does not strip out the clothes morphs like the current version does. With the exception of J-Suit which acts weird when using the zipper dials..

Not sure if it was just this one time but the Linear Point light seemed to make the render take longer could have been that or the shadow settings I had it at.. lol :)

I have found Scenefixer that hborre and markschum told me about is all I need  as it works and does what I want and the best thing it is free.  That other one Advanced Figure Manager is bit pricey at $20 and am currently funds are in short supply. :)

Yeah is a lot easier this way I found and a lot less steps to go through and since then I am happy with the results I am getting. :)

One thing have found with DS4 is that DOF is easier to set up and in some respects renders faster than Poser.

Both have their good and bad points which are too numerous to list but since I have both Poser Pro 2012 and Daz Studio 4 Pro I have no real worries.

Yeah considering it was about $500 tp $600 dollars for the Pro Version you would want a good pdf manual. Though the problem there is having to go through pages and pages to find what ya want.

Even though Poser has a good manual I hardly read it and well you find someone who has done it and can explain it better than what a manual can sometimes.

Cool thank you for this the only gripe I have with the autofit tool is it nuking the morphs. Though I have seen somewhere that DS4.5 will have a better autofit tool that supposedly wont nuke the morphs but will see.

The irony with DS4 Pro being free is you can imagine the uproar to those who paid for it it when it was first released.

I have both Daz Studio 4 Pro and Poser Pro 2012 so best of both worlds. :) The Ui and general scene manipulation is DS4 is why I like it. That and I am slowly getting content for Genesis.

Yes when you consider that DS4 Pro is free at them moment, they would want to recoup from somewhere other than content.

DS4 Pro.  (Got it because of Number 1) 

Pros 

1: It is free at the moment. 

2: Figure manipulation is better and the general work screen is more fluid as it uses OpenGL better than Poser.

3: OpenGL rendering for quick pictures and animations.

4: DOF is faster for some reason and easier to setup sometimes.

Cons

1: Poser Mat files dont work which sux.

2: No search engine like Posers one.

3: And other general limitations.

Poser 9 / Pro 2012 (I have both) 

Pros 

1: Renders tend to be better what with IDL / IBL, HDRI (Poser Pro) and AO.

2: Has more content support with materials and such.

3: Dynamics is better in that there are alot of user made Dynamic content (unlike Daz which from what I can gather does not have user made dynamic content as far as I know. 

4: Just more flexability in some areas.

Cons

1: Sometimes and awkward interface.

2: IDL and DOF can be really slow depending on the scene.

3: Scene manipulation can be agrovating at times and other general hassles / limitations.

You can have 4.5 on from what I have read you just have to do a custom install and not let it upgrade.. 

One happy camper here, got my email from Ann on my password problems and now back into the Daz Store, talk about awesome customer service.  And yes I did make sure to write my password down and keep it in a safe place. :)

Got in touch with Ann and she did try to send an automated email but no luck so went with option 2 of making a temp password. Have yet to know if I can use it or not so far no reply on that matter. So I am basically in the same position I was at the start of all this.
