That tornado was about 3 miles from my Aunt's House and 500 yards from my cousin's work.  The weather hear in Upstate NY  is definitely weirder than normal. The other night it was raining in the front yard but not a drop in the back :lol:

Today the weathermen (all 4 channels here) called for 0% chance of rain while out side during lunch (45 minutes ago) we had a quick rain shower.

I have not yet really played with P8 (except of  a quick look) since it took almost 2 hours to download the core program. I would like to some refinement in the library also. I do like the search option but it took close to 5 minutes to pull up my P6 runtime and almost as long to pull up my freebie runtime.

Okay I don't want to sound like a newbie but what are "normal maps"?

I wonder if  we can update some figures with this new rigging. Can't get P8 till the 14th of this month due to that is pay day (maybe my last at this job :crying: )

Quote - The basic bone structure is pretty much the same as the G2 figures.  The grouping is a little different - they went back to having the breasts as part of the collar, for the female figure, instead of having them on the chest bone.

The joints themselves are very different, the new figures make heavy use of the new extensions to Poser's rigging system.  Many bones have multiple deformers, some up to 4.  The new rig has MANY MANY MORE magnets built into it than Sydney's did, so along with the new extra multiple deformers thing, good luck getting these figures exported into any other app.

I think this could be an issue with creating new clothing using some of the tools I normally use.  A few vendors I am going to need to contact about this and see what they have to say.

Interesting... multiple falloffs. I wonder if this could be accomplished in Poser 7?

I want to know about this "new" rigging for the P8 figures. How is the bone structure different from say.... G2 figures or any Mil4 figures?

The only reason why I would buy P8 right now is the new figures(I am a vendor at another store). Plus I like the fact that Mr Sparky has some nice items you can only (as for now) in P8. Plus I think with the new render engine it will render smoother and possible faster.

My wife used to work at a major chain store in the "womens" area (bras, panties, stocking, and other under the clothing stuff). I had asked her the same thing. She said that some tops have built in supporters so they don't fall out when breathing. She said some of them tops are very uncomfortable.

I know some people who are still using V2 and P4 (not even Pro Pack for that version).

I think she means, if the prop's center is aligned with the center of the Poser Universe.  Any know what formula to use to figure that out?
