Ron, Ron, Ron, ProPack does use the *.rsr files. Went you open a Library for the first time, ProPack search thru directory for the *.rsr and create the *.png for each and ProPack check each time you open a directory from the Library and will create new ones for any missing. So if you did a "search and destroy" on *.rsr and you have not used that Library directory you destroy the thumbnail image. Now on the Geometries Poser uses the *.rsr to load faster so the next time you load that *.obj file the *.rsr will be create. I hope you didnt empty the recycle bin now

Now or in two year? I fell W2K is a better OS now. A lot less problem than XP Pro. In two year, after sp3, maybe sp4(LOL) XP Pro will be the better OS. So my question is do want it NOW or later?

Side panel, Pointer and sphere icon, the side panel button should say box, cone, sphere. in the dropdown box should have "Standard Primitives". Hit the arrow on the side of the dropdown. Select "Poser object". hit the "scence*.pz3" button. In the poser file dialogbox enter your file name or hit the browser button next to it. Select your file hit "open" button (wait). In the keyboard entry sidepanel hit the "create" button.

The plugin installed on the root directory not in 3ds max directory. you need to move the files to 3ds max or reinstall the pluging and pick the directory. Not let the program find it.

The video is about like my I've got a Elsa Gladiac Ultra (GeForce2 chipset) 64meg and running 1600x1200 on a G810 monitor. Now are you running OpenGL or Heidi in MAX? If I reminder 4.0 had some problem with OpenGL and should be running Heidi. MAX 4.2 does fix that and some other problems. Max does run great on dualprocesser system, I've used one a time or two. Do you running any other programs with MAX creating the Poser Scence?

Will you tell, me about your system, I'm running a PIII 733 with 512MB Ram and if I have Vicki, Pop star clothes, and a good textures (Yuma) in 3ds Max, the system is at a crawl. Im now looking for a new system, a P4 2 with 2gig of Ram maybe duals.

First, On plugin on 3ds Max, I've got it working great so wants the problem you are having? I agree with you 110% on Poser's object, lighting effects and cameras. Your ideally, is what I'm working on. I've got 3ds Max 4.2 and ProPack and love it. On the sound, You need to use video post in 3ds Max to match it up. Its not to hard if you story board the animation.

Just a reminder. You will lose any morph and pose setting. So you may want to save any setting you can before and this one. But it something I do now, everytime I start a new scene. First add character then add the hair before I move or change anything.

On hair, This is would I do. I first set the character I want the hair on the zero state and have it selected. Second, I add the hair figure. then I pose the whole figure with hair.

You can also use restore figure. this restore back to it's zero state or as if it's is just loaded in.
