You may or may not find it useful to study Appendix B of the Poser Reference Manual--it gives you a good overview of Poser file types, structures and where they are placed and why.

To be fair, what other ways of warning people would have been appropriate? Sending several emails in a row/ newsletters/ posts on the site has all been done. The previous owner's actions cannot be dictated by the new owner, and if someone purchases a software, one may assume they are not averse to other digital platforms.
I remember when e-on had the data breach and without any warning Cornucopia3D went poof. THAT was holding all my content hostage situation if I ever saw one. All following versions going subscription did not delight many, many people there. That content just became available again for download, after years.

Ah, not on the scene., Try opening up the library itself, and navigate to an item. Click on it once. The add or remove along with the other menus should appear now.
Thread: question re: zip files | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
I have gotten into the habit of installing all content manually via two Windows File Explorer windows. One has the zip open, one has the folder where I want to install and I manually drag and drop every folder to exactly where I want it. Easy and painless, it lines up everything and I have no more annoying 'daz purchased unzips never show up because there is an extra Content folder over Runtime'.
Thread: Poser 11.2 - Upgrade or not? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I uninstalled it; as far as I know, those servers are no longer in use. No issues with Poser itself after uninstall for me.

Thread: GIMP vs. Photoshop | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My husband and I both use GIMP because cost effectiveness. :) Me for my occasional Poser render edit (it may be to the detriment of me but I [refer 'made in Poser' mean it was made there and not pushed through a thousand filters before it is posted anywhere said it was made there)... and him for his work for a gaming server. Our professional artist friend uses Photoshop because requirements in the industry, but we swap stories and agree that both do their job for what they supposed to do.
Thread: Disappearing act | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It is no longer included as the creator no longer supports/ retired, from what I understand. With the Fitting Room and other 3rd party tools, there are possibilities for cross-fitting for other figures. (to be honest I haven't used it in years since the Fitting Room appeared).
Thread: Upgrading to Poser 11.2 and Keeping PP2014 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm not sure what you mean by that, can you specify 'problems' and 'wasn't as good'? I use my library search function daily and as long as I remember the right keyword (not always easy because braining is hard), it works fine?
Thread: Reflection_Lite_Mult - SRSLY? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I see what you mean, but unless they hold the rights to go in and mess with the actual concept and node structure and have the time (which you can probably see they didn't in this instance)...I just throw a new texture on stuff most of the time if it's clothing. And learned not to buy from some vendors, unfortunately the hard way. But that's a separate topic.
Thread: I'm confused. I run 11.2 installer and nothing happens. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thread: Some questions about the Poser 11.2 upgrade | Forum: New Poser Users Help
Indeed. As long as you proceed following instructions (your Poser was Poser 11, 11 Pro or Poser 2014 Game Developer), allow the uninstaller to uninstall, choose to retain previous preferences and install in order listed on website, I do believe it should go smoothly. Just a little patience.

^^^ about a thousand times, Ohki. Let's all take a deep breath, stop the hijack our amygdala loves to do to our brain, realize that this is just a program on a computer and will not end the world (well, unless Skynet likes Poser, then we're effed). Think about the image you project of yourself when you post online. Anonimity of the Internet is great, but things we post are also permanent.
