Wow, that's pretty awesome! Please include a texture for the head (without the painted hair) for those who want a cool, bald look!
Thread: Problem with TravisB's Tribal Character on Renderosity Store | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
By the way, the included texture and bump maps of the Tribal character are pretty cool too, especially on Wyrmmaster's "Massive Mike"!
Thread: Problem with Poser crashing during renders... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you have set your own preferences for initial Poser startup, set the UI to use "Factory State". You can use the "dots" to quickly move to your preferred UI arrangement from the initial "Factory State" at start up. For some inexplicable reason, I find that this has "cured" most of my Poser render crashes, especially when the file/model is a large (memory requirements)one. Might work for you too! ;-D
Thread: Male Hairy Chest? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Richard, would really like to see a render of your "3 layers on a Poser figure"... ;-D
Thread: Unpixilating Tattoo's on textures | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have my texture maps at 1400 x 1400 pixels (in JPG format) which give good detail and yet do not take up too much memory (harddisk space). ;-D
Thread: Zygote Millennium Man Sneak Preview | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Eric, An introductory price of $ 59.95 would certainly make "Victor" (God, not "Manny" please; it's such a total wimp of a name) more attractive as a purchase. By "neutral", I was referring to a default, base figure (e.g. Poser 4 dork). It seems that when Zygote releases a new generation of nude figures, it has to grapple with the twin (and competing) objectives of either making it an base model of an average "every man" type figure (for the widest possible applications) and/or giving the model "more character", i.e. stronger and more specific features such as ethnicity, muscularity, stature, etc. which might possibly make the figure's use more selective. Invariably, the default, base figure seems to turn out rather "dorkish". This is fine as long as there are included morphs, i.e. for ethnicity, muscularity, etc. which allow other users to re-define the character and give it more specific ethnic detail and stronger physical features. This is crucial especially if the new figure no longer supports those existing (face and body) morphs created for previous generations of Poser people. And of course, the best mesh without a good texture/bump map(s)is virtually useless, so do consider including these (and other neccessities such as hair) for "Victor's" release as well.
Thread: Zygote Millennium Man Sneak Preview | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the sneak preview, Zygote, BUT I hope this is just an early prototype and not the pre-production beta; "Victor" needs more work. If you want a "neutral" base (e.g. dork mode), please do include full body and specific bodypart morphs for greater muscularity, i.e. the "dickless" Zygote Muscle Man. And don't forget "ethnicity" morphs for the face and some decent texture maps (for ethnic variety)too, e.g. facial and body hair, other than the default, clean-shaven, white Anglo-Saxon. Some morphs for the male genitalia would be welcome to, if previous inhibitions at Zygote have been sufficiently transcended; don't give me the "we didn't think there would be a demand for it" pathetic excuse for this; just look at Renderotica to see how Poser users have made up for the poor P4 dork's "shortcomings". Apologies, if I sound harsh; I wouldn't have bothered if I didn't care and I know that Zygote is committed to quality and customer satisfaction. So listen up people and get cracking! :-(
Thread: New Section in Poser Free Stuff.... | Forum: Community Center
Thanks Jack! That's really thoughtful and a great help, seeing how great stuff for Millie/Vicky (which are incompatible with existing P3/P4 models) are now coming in and will probably continue for next few months as the community welcomes the new Posette with open arms!
Thread: Morphed Millie - Thanks to all MT makers!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My god, she's absolutely beautiful! Now all she needs is Mr Millenium! (Are you reading this, Zygote?) ;-D
Thread: Weekend BBay site update - WhatzNew | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Good Lord! The stable of talent at BBay continues to provide the Poser community with amazing resources, all which add greater value and further dimensions to Poser software. Keep up the good work people!
Thread: PHYSIQUE is POSTED! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Richard! BTW, if you haven't found it yet, you should look in the Poser Mart at: http://www.loston.net/themall/morph.htm Where you'll find Daniel Wilmes' "infamous bulge morph" for your downloading pleasure! I think it is for the P3 nude male, and for the Zygote Muscle Man and (if you have it) the original Zygote African-American man as well. :-D
Thread: Physique-Coming soon | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ah, the master returns! Hi, Richard, really missed your regular presence in the community; sure I remember your work! Mr Chaney (or "face man" as I call him) was one invaluable Poser resource that I was lucky enough to have when I first started playing around with Poser 3 and trying to create some "ethnic" variety in facial features! And your muscularity morphs (from some of Fastraxx's superhero characters) were crucial for "beefing up" the poor Poser dork. Your new "Physique" looks amazing! Can't wait to see the final version; thanks for sharing your work!
Thread: Poser VS Win98.... HELP PLEASE!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yo Jack! Hope this helps: 1. Start "Registry Editor" (Regedit) and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionexplorerAdvanced 2. From the "Edit" Menu, choose "New", then "String Value". 3. Type in: StartMenuScrollPrograms 4. Double-click the new value and type FALSE as the data. This would enable Windows 98 to expand its cascading menus as multiple columns where necessary (just as in Windows 95). However the above only works if you have Internet Explorer 5 installed. :-D
Thread: Inflammable Nostrils! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Bloodsong! Now we can finally get to "turn off the lights" from Poser Dude and Posette's nostrils! Going to try them out now... :-D
Thread: Improved Plague Victim Tex Map | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks, Dreamspinner! This is just perfect for those moments when hapless Poser Dude meets Zygote Shark or one of Davos' (at BBay.com) monstrous creations! Hello, trauma time!
