Cool picture !!! I think that you could obtain something realy close to your final render with no postwork with Vue4...
Thread: How to make a lake in Vue4 | Forum: Vue
If I well understand your message (I'm french...) your problem is easy to solve. Let's resume : you have a DEM file where the lake is not taken into account as datum of height, and the other one where the lake is taken into account. (I hope it is correct english, or at least understandable... :-)) It I'm right, and if both files coincide well , take the one with the lake, apply on it the water materiel you want, and make it coincide with the other one. Then, lower it slightly so that only the lake is visible... I hope that can help you...
Thread: After The 'E'... the 'D' | Forum: Vue
MikeJ is right, Sacred'... I use images with the terrain editor... and the images are produced with drawing tools of Word97... Ed Sullivan, Tradivoro ? The one from the 'Ed Sullivan Show' in the 60's ??? (Sorry, I'm french...) I said that for impressing you, Irene. I can now admit that it is fonts... LoL !!! :-) Thanks to all of you

Jaywat, as I said before, I hate newbies like you in this forum ! (it's a joke... read following lines... ;-)) Some newbies comes simply in this forum with their first tries with vue. And what to say ? Their first tries are simply great ! I'm playing with Vue a long time ago and it took me a long time to have renders like this ! Now, what can I do ? Think that I must work harder on this program ? Welcome you and hoping that we will see some more stuff from you ? OK... continue this good work... continue to enjoy our eyes with this kind of pictures... :-) Errr... Did I say that I'm happy to see you in this forum and I can't wait for your future images ?

Welcome to this awesome and inVredible (internal joke !) community of vue user's. Well... I'm relatively new to vue's forum and I saw that, curiously, the 'dumbest' questions are the best. ;-) And don't fear it, you'll ask some dumb questions, 'till you'll answer dumber questions from another one... :-)
Thread: Fully Happy !!! | Forum: Vue
Thanks Daff... Elisab... oh yes, Laurie ! ;-) Thanks, Varian, I know you were the guy !!! MikeJ, am I hurting your legendary modesty if I say that you're a genious ? For your question, Both resolutions (images and terrains)are 1000x1200. After loading picture, I click 10 times on the "erosion" button.

I agree with MikeJ : it would be cool you put all this in the freebies section ! Especially this one that I really like !

Thanks to everyone !!! Thanks, Irene, but I must say 'no', it's not a font, but a letter that I created... Thanks wgreenlee1 and Larry F. I thought about a font, but two problems : - Some letters looks impossible to do with this drawing style, the 'C', 'G', 'J', 'S', 'X', 'Y' and 'Z'... - Do you know a good program for building fonts ? Thanks, Tradivoro, Sacred Rose, jarm and Sharen. As soon as I will be able to save the object (still use Vue4 demo...), I'll post it in the freebies, so you can use it... why not in a window ? ;-) Thanks Varian MikeJ and BloodSong. OK, I'll say you how I made this : Sorry, MikeJ, but it is primitives ! No... joke... ;-) You're right, BloodSong, it's terrains. Two terrains. But you'll never believe how I made the picture for this terrains... It was made with drawing tools from Word97 !!! InVredible, no ??? ;-)
