Go into render options and change your view to something different than 4:3. I set mine to cinemascope 8:3.

No... has stopped with 'Adding Objects'. Will sit outside in the morning sun and have my cuppa and then come back and see if it has moved...

Its the DAZ Mihai hair. It has worked with the Poser4 renderer. I did give it a while with the firefly (walked away and came back) but it didn't happen. My specs are Dual Xeon 2.66 GHz with 2 Gig RAM, so that shouldn't be a problem. I have set it off and will go make a cuppa and see what happens.

Thanks all for your feedback... I have now found the problem component. I decided to start removing things from the scene until it would not hang. It was found very quickly as I thought I would start with the hair (MeInOhio indicated it could be a problem) and it was the Mihai hair. Rendered fine after removing it. I shall investigate its potential to be moved and post back with the results, but in the meantime will just resintall it into its default location.

Yes Sharen, do it for the Pro version. You probably will never use the 4.12 version again. Just have to move the extras installs from 4.12 over to the Pro directory for easier access.

My first impressions of Vue where "Wow, this is better than real life, now we can create anything". That opinion hasn't changed much, but just moved closer to the truth. You don't have to wait for the right time of day to get that perfect sunset. You don't have to leave the city to see the country. You can now start to produce images from your memory and imagination without weeks of painting, sweat and disappointment. 3D graphics tools are brilliant and its great to be a part of their growth and blossoming, and they are only getting better.

Thanks Guitta, Having won the e-onsoftware contest with all 36 images submitted makes me now comfortable, having also won the peoples vote previously. Thanks e-on software, Trillium36 and Kromekat for the excellent prizes and to all the other magnificant entries into the competition. It would have been a difficult choice for the judges.
