Hi..Take a look at my first image. The "building in the center...the tall one, has a broken off looking top...I tried doing plateau to it, but is there another way to obtain flat topped roofs ??? Or any other angle for that matter.. With the paint tool in the terrain editor, I would think it possible to get just about any type of shape and structure you could imagine. Playing with the scale and stuff for the "suburbs" filter yields much different results as well. Thanks very much, sacada, for this tip. I just started using Vue and am enjoying it a lot !! :)

Create a new image. Create a terrain (I did it at 1024*1024). Click the 'Add Function' and change to 'Suburbs' bump. Ok that till the terrain is created. Change the terrain's 'Material' to 'Mirror Building' in the 'Special Effects'. Now raise the terrain vertically until happy with Material's windows (you wont be able to get it perfect). That's it. I used a mixed material to get the roof lines and added some refection and transparency for effect.
That's it.
Give it a go.
