I started an Excel spreadsheet during the holidays that lets me know what is what, where it came from, who the creator is, and where it's stored at. I probably should have added a column for URL's and where the readme's are, but I didn't think of that until just now. Somewhere here in the forums is another thread on the same subject and somewhere in that thread is a download link for a spreadsheet that does the same thing. Also, I would buy PBoost if your computer will handle it. I'm going to get it end of the month and take the week-long learning curve to get to know it and get all my files properly put away so I can find them again. Poser 5 apparently doesn't have the file limitations that P4 does, but I"m not ready to lay down that much cash...although...I might and just take the heat for it.

What about just using a M2 character and making a dwarf from it,then scaling that down a bit? I think I remember seeing a set of morphs for Michael that would create a dwarf, and it was in the Freebies...but I could be wrong about the location.

Er, love the costuming...where's it from? I figure that its the old "our ball, our bat, our backyard" type of thing. They provide the space, they pay the bills, they make the rules. Kinda like living with your parents. I have no real problem with the rules, I'd just like to see them applied across the board. I've noticed that some of the more proficient artists get away with a lot more than those who are struggling to learn the art form. Also, those who have spent more money in the marketplace for props tend to get passed by when the censors make their sweeps. Ah, well...this is democracy at its finest. Everyone has the right to an opinion and the person who's paying for the forum has the right to dictate how its used.
Thread: Searching for a ferris wheel for Poser4 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
http://www.iw43d.com/poser/poser.htm has a beauty of a ferris wheel, AND a lovely carosel.
Thread: Unbelievable Price ! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Molly, I don't know that I'd purchase V3. What with having to purchase 3 different set-ups just to get one picture out of her, as well as needing Poser 5 to do her justice, I just can't afford her. I think there's been some astounding work done with, and for, her, but she's like the cheerleader is to the chess team: way out of their league.

Someone please tell me there's a coupon from Rosity that can be applied to this beauty! AAuugghh..I don't own a credit card and I have an ongoing two year old battle with Pay Pall over ordering the first copy of Renderosity Magazine so I don't use them! (Pay Pal says they disbursed the funds, Rosity says they never were paid, I lost the money {full price, not a discounted copy} and did without the magazine.)

Moderating, like editing, is a highly situational field. I feel you did your best but, as a former journalist and as one who teaches journalism and writing, I realize that "job safety" is an oximoron. May you fare well, where ever you may fare.
Thread: I need your dragonfly wings! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Do you just want the wings, or the whole dragonfly? I've got one in a box somewhere in the store room...the crop wasn't as large this year as in the past. ;-} Wonderful little guy,Hope to see it soon.

Thread: Volumetric Rain??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ithought I had all the RDNA Xmas goodies. I don't remember this one. I'll have to go look through the files again. Volumetric rain, snow, and fog is a good thing. Also, an actualy working volumetric shower would be a good thing too.
Thread: PhilC's Fem Mesh 'Utility' (almost freestuff) Who wants to Poserize her? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, please sir, may we have another? I'd love to make myself into a Pose Character, along with the rest of the family. Just think, It would be possible to Poserize the entire family into one vast virtualy family that wasn't nearly as dysfunctional as the meat-based one. ;-}

Has anyone had the chance to see Bubba Ho Tep? Campbell at his finest as the aging Elvis saving the world from a reawakened killer mummy. Headquartered out of a nursing home in West Texas, and assisted by the former president of the USA Jack Kennedy (played by Ossie Davis...you won't believe the explanations...) he goes out to save the world. There's a website out there online that has a download trailer that's just TOO funny!
Thread: How much stuff do you buy for YOUR Barbies? Er, Vickies? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
As I develop that mysterious concept called "income" I will probably spend about $30-50/month on my Poser addiction. BUT..I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs (anymore...at my age the people you have to do business with should be dating your grandkids...) so I have a couple of hobbies, and Poser has become the main one. I know people here that spend WAY more than that on booze, electronic bingo and pulltabs, and the enevitable tickets for driving under the influence. And this is just per weekend. I'll take my quiet little Poser addiction, thank you! Now, if I could come up with another 500+MB of RAM for my laptop (my other addiction) and figure out how to fix what my kids did to the DVD player...life would be sweet.
