The last updated CR2 included a fix of several morphs that had "overlapping geometries" ? I had never heard of the problem before it was fixed and no mention was made of which morphs were involved. I had already extracted Zygote's new morphs to a reserve file. I would be interested in the discussion of this and identification of the culprit morphs. I suspect morphs may be involved in your artifact. Sometimes morphs that appear inactive per their dials are actually activated thru a full body morph. Was your "with genitals" version strictly personal? Is it available? All that I am aware of in this area is the two sets of morphs; one by rtamesis and one by me.

When I consider the price and the content of Steve's CD's , I would be hard pressed to label them commercial. They are closer to a service than a source of profit. They really are a bargain. It is counterproductive to our purpose here to put impediments in their way. "Commercial?" = a pretext. By the way- Rena, outstanding work!

One of the maps for Vicky in the Free Stuff = Different So the problem is not at the map seams, but is where the groups/elements meet. I have seen similar problems when a morph causes the mesh from one element to override the adjacent one. Could a weld problem be responsible?

There is an old hair style out there with the name: Cool bob 5 It is ~700 K It may serve your purpose. I do not remember where it is from. Ask here, if you are unsuccessful, perhaps we can set up a back channel transfer. No one should want an unexpected e-mail attachment these days

If you use the CR2 that produces the artifact and point it to a different set of textures and import this into Vue, result = ? Does the CR2 include the Bump? If so, dump it and try again.

The CR2 just matches materials with textures. It does not involve actual mapping. That is done directly between the OBJ and the texture thru the renderer. Are the seams white or just mismatched color?

Zygote sells two pairs of maps in their photorealistic set . The upgrade provided 3 CR2's. One setup for each of the two textures and one setup for no texture. They are otherwise identical. The size is ~8 Megs as oppossed to the original ~4 Meg. The difference is Morphs. If you did not purchase the maps, you only need to keep one of the 3 Cr2's. In this case, I think Zygote somewhat over did it in their attempt to idiot proof the upgrade - especially if you are running this thing at 48 K bps instead of 2,400 K bps. But then, Zygote has to deal with a different world.

One of the principals at the PFO also just slipped a shiv to Jack for offering to help with a proposed Poser Manual on the Poser List. This continuing behavior is less than mature and is petulant. I hope for the sake of their consciences that they never develop any insight.

Oh yes, Jim. That is right at the top of my: "if I had it to do all over again (on my computer)" list. Melanie, give a thought to having more than one hard drive.

No problem here. I did recognize the model, but I am smitten. I certainly understand how enthusiasm can cause an off the cuff submission. A lot of submissions (from everyone) are done as though they were a part of an on going conversation. For beginners or in the future when the conversation is forgotten, just what the submissions are can be confusing.

Pam, You might consider indicating on the graphic in the Free Stuff that the texture is for Vicky's clothing.

Diane, If you do cylindrical on the whole garment you may have a problem with the portion above the hips. If the result does not work for you, you may try this: On the original template. select just the skirt part: use select group(s) if you can. Just remap this as cylindrical. No room? Hide everything else. Overlay the whole thing just as Vicky is mapped. It means two textures, but it looks like theybuse "Flesh"? to map the trunk and arms. UVMapper can not duplicate this style.
