Thanks, Acadia!
I've been inspired by a dress I saw on tv this morning and I think I'm going to try modeling one like it. I don't think it will be tooo hard....maybe. Less shapeless than this one and will be great if I can pull it off. So it might be a while before I submit anything else. Unless I get too frustrated with it and try something easier.
Wish me luck!

Quote - They look like Hospital gowns except they're closed in the back! :tt2: Excellent job!
They do! LOL! Maybe it was subliminal that I made them blue?
And I see they put it up for download even quicker than the evening gown. WTG! Looks like the new procedures are coming along nicely.
Gonna try new stuff to see if I can make something a little less generic.
Thanks for the compliments!

Quote - madame, i ain't got anything to gripe about, but thanks for the nice v4 gown!
Why thank you, Miss Nancy! It's very nice of you to say that. Got another one (night/house dress) that I'm planning to submit, too. ;)
Ok, peoples, carry on....

I really hate whiners (present company excepted, of course! This IS the gripe and whine thread, after all ;))
You know the kind....always complaining about SOMETHING.....never happy.....can't please 'em for nothing. Wakes up whining that they woke up....LOL!

Just an update:
I've just submitted the dress to the Free Stuff. Hopefully, in a couple of days it will be available in my Free Stuff items area at my homepage.

By the way, how does one go about creating material zones for texturing?
I think I should know this, but for some reason I'm drawing a blank.
@MatrixWorkz: What is VF? Is it easy to use?

@Acadia: That is a gorgeous render! Thank you for posting it!
As usual, RL got in the way of getting this ready for submission sigh I did work on it some last night, but I was dog-tired, so put it off til today. Then, today, I had to go to the nursing home to help my sister with my mom. I'm afraid tomorrow isn't looking very promising either. groan
But if I can't get to it before this weekend, I'm sure I'll get it all done then.
And many, many thanks for all the wonderful comments and help! I deeply appreciate it!

@infinity10: No, I've not created any material zones. I'm not exactly sure how to go about it, really. Can that be done in Hex?
@Touchwood: Didn't think about setting the dress to collide against. I'll have to try that.Â
I'll be doing a bit more work on this before I submit it to Free Stuff. I'll be redoing the constrained group and make a new preset using the suggestions from Frank and MatrixWorkz.
And thanks for the renders, Acadia and MatrixWorkz! Both of you and Frank have been a tremendous help!

Just a quick check-in before work.
Thanks for the comments everyone!
And many thanks to FrankT, MatrixWorkz and Acadia for trying it out for me. :)
I'll be back later this evening and will update on progress on getting it ready to submit to Free Stuff.

Quote - Sure, sounds good. I love dynamic clothing :)
So do I! I've hardly played with Studio since I discovered the cloth room...LOL! And I love Studio! I can make much better renders with it, which is why I want to do so in Poser. I like the way dynamic cloth looks and wish I could get my pc to make better renders when I use P5.
Oh....and you have mail!

Actually, I've not packaged it up yet. Just got thru with the image a bit ago, and had some chores to take care of. You know how it is....work on the puter a bit.....do a bit of housework.....more puter stuff....get summin to eat.....back to the puter......and so on....LOL!
I'll get it fixed up for you here in a bit and send you a link via site mail. I'd love to know how it does on others' pc's. Is that ok?

Quote - in my head, having the dog as the overall parent would make it feel like the dog was taking the human for a walk...
... but then again, I've seen that happen more than once! :)
Used to have a St. Bernard that did that! She walked me instead of the other way around!
