Spratman I'm gay..... well, bi, I guess, don't give a damn might be a better description, and I don't see anything overtly sexual in this pic. Where is it??? Bulging crotches - yes, guys' crotches bulge, this is because they have dicks. And they wear shorts, well, I would guess because the weather's hot. OT, here in the UK, a pair of shorts can last you years, we have about two weeks a year when you feel it's warm enough to wear em...... I can't speak for what Jim intended, but I didn't see these guys as being meant to arouse me, and I can tell you, it doesn't take much ;D They're just two guys out with a kid, okay, maybe someone would look and find one or both of them attractive, but that's the same with any image, surely? Thread: P4 Man Face Morphs? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
there's a figure called Max Morph here http://www.penguinbar.com/Main/Other/other.htm it has a lot of face and body morphs, the face morphs aren't arranged in any particular order, if you find that annoying you can put em onto another P4 tidily with Morph Manager. I use this for all my P4 man renders and it's very versatile, just got Dr Morpheen but I haven't used him yet. M

I have Mike's jeanz and they work okay, although I have probs with the open zipper, it seems to need some postwork to get it to actually, er, expose what I want it to :D I guess from what you say you're finding they just don't fit, have you scaled them after you conform them? Sometimes I find conforming is a waste of time, it's better to just apply the clothing to the figure after she/he is posed, and use the clothing morphs, trans etc to make it fit. I did this with Mike's shirt from Poserworld, which I put on Vicki and it worked fine, and other items which were supposed to conform, but because of the changes I'd made to the figure, they didn't fit when I conformed them. Hope this helps M

That's difficult.... everything, I guess :D At the moment, I'd say new hair more than anything, if I need a prop I can knock one up in TrueSpace, but I'm not up to hair. Clothes - I post at rotica a lot and don't use these much, but more everyday stuff for the millenium figures would be nice, there's a lot of fantasy costume out there. I do my own hair and clothing textures if I need them, good skin textures are always useful, although I nearly always have to shrink them or my poor machine falls to its knees and begs for mercy. M

hey, ernyoka, just being lighthearted here about the homosexual lifestyles - which were mentioned by Dizzie...... I'm quite aware that it's the sex part that some people don't like, hell, what else would it be? And homophobic - I guess that's a definition of not liking homosexuals, right, same as agoraphobic means you don't like open spaces, although strictly speaking, shouldn't homophobic mean you don't like men? Or is my Greek just as bad as I think it is :D BTW, I'm not labelling anyone, I get enough of that myself, don't need to do it to anybody else. If someone doesn't like what I do, all I can say is, I like it, no, gods, I love it, if you don't, you don't have to look........ Polyamorous, Lyrra? Go for it :D Alex

So you don't like homosexual lifestyles, Dizzie? Why could that be, I wonder? I work at home, my lover goes out to work, I shop at Marks and Spencers, he does his at WalMart, he cleans his house, I ignore it till it swamps me, he likes Jeeps and I have a weakness for old Jags...... I guess Jim and all the other gay artists that post here have a whole different lifestyle each, so if you're gonna dislike all of that, there's not a lot left to like :D M

Worst I ever had was at rotica, I posted in x cgi and was told by someone to move it to the x gay gallery....... it's surprising the bad things people can find to put on other people's pics. Fuck em Jim, they're sad morons with nothing better to do with their time :D Alex

Yeah, Patricia, and when you've turned them, they make great models for when you want to do one of those renders with a cute little fairy sat on a toad's tool :D Blessed Be

Probably memory - Poser can only use 128Mb anyway, and if that's all you have, you actually have less - your graphics card and OS will be using some of that. Try closing Poser and restarting the computer before you open it again, to clear out all the materials info etc. and get back as much memory as possible. Sometimes that works for me - I have missing hips all the time, but they can come back when I do this. Also make sure you empty the Recycle bin and delete temp files really often :) I wondered if this was a crosstalk problem, but it still happens when using a null figure so maybe not. Otherwise, you could save out some or all of the figs as obj once they are posed, then bring them back in.

Bryce and Vue are both good for landscapes, Vue is particularly good if you want plants. As far as I know, renders are done in Bryce because it gives a better result ditto 3D Max etc. I personally render in Poser but do the lights in Psp because in my humble opinion, the Poser lighting is crap :) I have a utility called Virtual Studio which I think was free on Rosity that has better lights. It comes as a PZ3 and you just load it in and do the scene in there - make sure all the figures etc are in the library first. About to get Nerd's Backdrop Tool, which is only $10 and looks pretty good for doing outdoors - it's difficult getting realistic effects with a background image and a bit of stretchy grass. I export my ground plane to Psp and texture it there to avoid the texture stretches, so stuff comes out the right size. Hope this rambling has been some help.
