I'm trying to learn about maps. Does every texture need or benefit from a map?
Which type of map is better, a normal or a bump? Are there any other types of maps that improve the way an object looks when you render it?
So much to learn.

I'm looking for texture, not patterns. For instance, when I'm making a shirt and pick a color, I'd like to use a cotton texture so that it looks like fabric. There are a few textures in the Layer Style effects, but not what I needed. I was wondering if there was some way to get more textures to use?
