When I switched to a higher resolution on my screen, it cleared up the problem a fair bit. There are still some items that get buried, but not as many.
Thread: Need advice on PBooost | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Older computers can handle xp just as well as the new ones. I run win xp pro on 233mgz pentium with 96 megs ram with no problems.(Other than the fact my second hard drive is dedicated to page file. Oh well )Anyway, pboost worked fine when I converted through win 98-me-2000-xp pro. I think it may just be luck of the draw though.

Thread: help with a pose for V3, please! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You've peaked my curiosity! I'll play around with my vic3 and see what I can come up with. (Are you looking for similar body proportions, or just what works?)
Thread: Poser 5 Stability! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I run poser 5 on 233Mhz pentium 2 with only 96 megs of ram, I don't have any of the service releases, and I have never had one problem with stability. Even when I have multiple hi-res characters with tons of props and full background, the firefly renders just as quick for me as the old poser 4, and that's with all the firefly's bells and whistles turned on. (Is that just fluke on my part?)
Thread: creating V3 character | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you mean simply applying morphs to the v3 base character in order to create a new character, ie facial and body changes, you simply have to export the finished character a wavefront obj. That will create a new base mesh for you to work with. (This is just a base guideline, you will probably have to tweak here and there with settings.) Once you have your new mesh, open the cr2 and change the two lines that point to the old v3 to point to your new character. Save the file under a new name and there you go. (At least that's how I do it, experiment and find out what works best for you.)
