Irfanview is right at the top of my "best graphic utilities" list...right under P3DO Explorer. I could not live without it in my Poser arsenal.
Thread: Poser under Lindows? - yes Lindows with a L | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I would like to repeat the original ?? of this post: Anyone used Poser in Lindows? I am interested in knowing because I have an award of $100. worth of Lindows merchandise on hold. I let them file my claim against Microsoft in the California Group anti-trust suit of a few months ago.

Thread: Um... what happened to Dark Whispers products? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the info on Daz brokering, Puntomaus...I was never really certain how that worked. One thing that amazes me is the recent and past forum threads pertaining to merchants pulling their items from the store here at RO. Peeps are worried about obtaining their favorite merchant's items as if this was the only store in town. Attention, WalMart Shoppers....these merchants are going to find other ways to offer their creations. Our community is a very large one and continually growing...our friends are going to find alternate means of keeping us going with great new creations.

I believe that Dark Whisper pulled all of his store items from Renderosity and is now contracted to broker all of his stuff via Daz 3d.
Thread: camera settings | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
As a photographer I can honestly say that the lighting arrangement/camera settings [placement, intensity, lens focal length, etc.]in Poser follow pretty closely to the real world of photography. Pick up a copy of a good book on photography at your library or wherever and you will find some excellent info on lense setting and lighting arrangement, most books have diagrams and charts covering these subjects.

Thread: Got P3dO Explorer? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Part of my message didn't make it through in my post above so repeat here: Yarp loves to get feedback on the utility and wants to know when there is a problem. He constantly updates the program and many enhancements are based on user requests, and bugs are found/fixed via the same user feedback.
Thread: Got P3dO Explorer? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have been praising and promoting this handy utility for years...it just keeps getting better. I love it for browsing my CD archieves and to me that is easier/better than keeping a ton of thumbnail viewer files. Xantor: I am not sure I understand the problem you are having, but if you email Yarp [P3dOE creator] at the address found in the readme...guaranteed he will advise you swiftly. He is a very nice person and takes a lot of pride in his creations.

Yes, please do post them...I have been disappointed at the lack of items available for this character so far.

Thread: Looking for a toon hair for SARA by DW | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Not that long agoe there was a couple of hairs for Sara in the freestuff here, a long and a short style...they were for Poser 5 only. Search for 'hair' or 'sara' in the freestuff for Poser, that should bring them up.

Sorry to see you go, but I will check out your site and bookmark it. I don't do much with the Daz forums...It may just be me but they seem pretty difficult to navigate.
Thread: Problems with the Free Stuff | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
A lot has been said on the failure of Curious Labs to release Poser 5 as a stable program, IMO they really blew it on the characters they released with the program. Bypassing Daz and creating their own base characters was as big a mistake as releasing P5 prematurely.
Thread: Anyone seen one of these?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I saw a free one at one of the Japanese sites some weeks ago, but did not bookmark the link. Sorry...Perhaps my post will jog someone else's memory of where it is.
