I started with Poser 4, added ProPack and now use Poser 5 exclusively (since the last patch). My box says I was order #100 and I pre-ordered it the first available day. I still don't do much with the hair or cloth rooms and nothing fancy with the materials room. I do play with Serge Marck's tutorials for the cloth room and I'm learning...but it's a really steep learning curve for me. I also must admit that I've mainly done still pics and not animations with P5. I love the way FireFly renders--usually. Sometimes you get some weird effects. The main reason I use P5 exclusively is the ability to sort all your libraries into separate ones. Now, I can occasionally find the MAT file I'm looking for. (My new 128 gig external hard drive is already 2/3 full of Poser stuff.)

Thanks everyone. Right now my files look about like jelisa's. I have a DAZ runtime, a Poser5 runtime, a V3 runtime, etc. I really wanted to reorganize by topic rather than vendor. I'm on way way to find CorrectReference.

Thanks for the advice. What about having one texture folder. I hate it when P5 locks up when it can't find the texture :(

Steph has her own textures. Of course DAZ sells some but there are free ones lurking around--and some really pretty ones at that. Do a search for the freebie section. Victoria's clothes usually do fit Stephanie. Of course with catsuit, I usually end up turning off most of the body parts on whatever figure is wearing it so I don't get poke through.

I like that background. It would make an interesting Reflection map.

You refer to the male version of Victoria 3 as Michael 3. Isn't DAZ working on an actual Michael 3 figure? I've seen this "character" referred to as Victor and that's how I think of him.

Your URL is has a typo. Maybe men don't type, either?! With the book's subtitle, I'm surprised the client wants the woman in the foreground and not the man. I'm not an artist but her hair seems a little high off her forehead, too.

Any chance of a pom-pom on the top? The hair looks really good but her ears are going to get cold when she hits the slopes.

Thanks, pdxjims. I think I actually tried using this tutorial with Anim8or (I only get Poser and Photoshop at work.). Unfortunately, I have a brain which isn't hardwired for good spatial ability. I simply cannot "see" the 3D image which is supposed to be created from the 3 flat planes. Drafting class and I did not get along very well.

You can still get the freebies and the FAQ's, tutorials, etc. from the DAZ store page. Look at the icons at the top of the page. The * (star-like thingy) takes you to the free stuff page. The ? takes you to the FAQ's, updates, links to tutorials, etc. The head is for your profile, the cart is your cart, and the cash register is to check out. I can't remember what else is up there but play around with them.
