I do not remember seeing one, but I think what you want is a Colt Automatic model 1911. It was used from WWI thru Vietnam. I think to many a Colt 45 refers to a revolver, introduced by Sam Colt himself sometime around or just after the Civil War. It is one of the most famous handguns of the American West (The Great Equalizer).

Go to Morph World and experiment with the eyebrow transparency maps posted there. They are not meant to be anything definitive, just a way to get started. Once you get the hang of it, you may prefer the new eyebrow mesh to the traditional one.
Thread: Simple question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The mesh lines are not what I was discussing. I prefer P6 to do textures, but on a mesh that is split front-back, it is difficult to do tan lines, etc. By drawing lines across the seam in different colors, it makes it easier to make the match, especially if this guide is a partially transparent layer, to be turned off for the final texture. To repeat advice that was given to me here: Take your model into UVMapper, save it as a single group with a different name and "aquire" the model in Painter 3D. If you want to live in P3D you will not need the guide lines, but the layer function is not nearly so robust as it is in P6, or as I understand it PSP or PS.

One method: Open the model in Painter 3D, carefully make variously colored lines that cross the seams. This will show you where to match up the lines on the template. When you get near the seams, place the color one dot at a time, rather than painting continuous lines. Do it the other way once and you will see why. This works best if ypur paint program supports layers.
Thread: Deleting Materials?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
A lot of CR2 files have legacy materials and if you delete all material entrys - they stay gone. But, when you open at CR2 file in Poser, it will rewrite the materials that are assigned in the OBJ file (an entry for every discrete Usemtl_*** line in the "f" section. The only way to permanently get rid of a material is to delete it from the OBJ file. If you are playing with textures in Poser and have accumulated a long list , just save the CR2 and close Poser. When reopened, the CR2 will only list the textures that are actually used, the others are gone.
Thread: Can anyone tell me..... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It incorporates the improvements that were auditioned here: Paul's shoulder JP change and Scott's Eye point at fix. It has all of their morphs and 3 versions of the CR2: a plain one and a full set up of two of their textures (the latter being what the earlier update was).

If you convert the transmap to grayscale and save it as a JPEG the size of the file should not be too large even if it is 1000 x 1000.
Thread: Anyone else have this problem with transparencies? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Open the transMap in a graphics program. Run the dropper over the black area. If it is anything greater than 0,0,0 (absolute black)there will be this ghost effect. The less black -the more visible.

Thread: nostrils figures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
OK, here is a way: UVMapper Select the area of the nose including the nostril Drag to clear area and enlarge, then drop to black Select what you do not want and drag that back to nose area (You can do that one poly at a time if need be) What you want will look like squished bottle caps - Assign material - "nostrils" Save the model - new name of course Test in Poser to make sure that you have what you want- and only what you want. Open the new OBJ side by side with the OBJ whose mapping is that desired in a text editor. In the "f" section under[g head]of the new- find the "usemtl nostril" entries. look at their line numbers. Find the corresponding line numbers in the old. Insert "usemtl nostril" in every corresponding location and insert "usemtl skin" (or whatever it is named) at the end of each block - there can be several widely spread entries, sometimes one line only. Save old with new name You now have defined the new material without changing the UVMapping. You can remap easily just the new material using 'select material' if you really want to.
Thread: "Millie" version of Victoria??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Trav, thanks for the compliment. I sent a *.pcf version of "Millie" to the Props Guild but I do not know if it will be posted. As for the difficulty of mapping: I took the blMilWom.obj into Painter 3D to try to match up tan lines front to back and locate highlight areas. I found that a single pixel applied in the groin area will streak over a large part of it. The native UVmap just does not offer a mapping oportunity in this area.

Is it Vicky? If so, the glow may be caused by Zygote's BumpMap, if you are using it. I deleted it and it went away for me. Nostrils: dark red may produce an effect that is less stark.
Thread: Victoria eyebrow texturing...can someone help? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Snow, I have gotten them to work, and they promise to be superior to anything we have now. (From directions in a pending submission of transmaps.): the UpperEyeBrows. If you need a place to start with this try the following: 1> on the Head morphs find the one at the bottom just above taper: "Brows In" set it to -0.10 They start to emerge at 0 and get too far out at -0.110 2> Select an upperbrow trans __ for the transparency 3> Leave the max/min transpareny slides both at 100% 4> Paint out the brows on the face on a Head texture map ( use a clone brush if you have one). Set the base color for the brows the same as SkinHead. 5> Color the UpperBrows portion of the map whatever shade you want the brows to be. A gradient is probably better, but trying to duplicate the fur of the brows is pointless, the transmap does this. Some of the head morphs done with magnets, inadvertantly pull the upperBrows out into space, so the numbers may nor may not apply. Jaager
