But will be the process flow exactly? Should we post our WIP's there and ask for critique and then post the final picture in the gallery? Or, because of the pic size restrictions in the forum, should we post the WIP's in the gallery and put a link in the forum?

You could create a Gmail account and use it in Outlook. That's what I do, it's really easy. It's free, it has lots of space (more than Hotmail) and they have a very good spam filter. And if it gets spammed heavily, you can always create a 2nd one. I find Gmail much, much better than hotmail, in all aspects. I use it for all non-business related issues.
Gmail accounts are only created by invitation but I can invite whoever needs one, all I need is any email address that I can send the invitation to.
Thread: A way to reload shaders for Poser Shader Tree? | Forum: Vue
Here's an extract from e-on support knowledge base, statement from e-on team on January this year, regarding V6I (but probably applicable to other V6 because they all probably use the same SDK):
http://www.e-onsoftware.com/support/ShowMessage.php?id=1169748339&stage=-1&chooseCategoryPage=&categoryName=&category=&subCategory=&superCategory=
"It may be that the current Poser SDK we use is not compatible with multiple Poser 7 runtimes. This is mainly because the SDK is basically designed for Poser 6, so there are still problems with Poser 7. We are still working on this along with e-frontier to improve the compatibility with Poser 7."
Thread: A way to reload shaders for Poser Shader Tree? | Forum: Vue
I have read somewhere that Vue doesn't support multiple Poser runtimes. I found that the hard way when I upgraded from Poser 6 to 7 and I wanted to keep both runtimes separated. I started having a mess with Vue imports, I searched for it and I found in some knowledge base (e-on?) a specific note saying that.
Regarding reimport of Poser characters, I have V6I and I just save the Poser file again and Vue automatically asks me if I want to reload the character. It's reloaded in exactly the same place as I had placed the old one in Vue. Of course, I can not break the connection to Poser by manually changing anything, like ungrouping or such. If I do that, I do a very simple trick: I center the object I want to replace, in all views, I delete it, and without changing anything, I reload the new character. Choosing the option "center object", it goes to the exact same place as the old one was.

Thread: How to make sky have realistic stars and not dots ? | Forum: Vue
Stars is one of the things that I don't really like in Vue. All the techniques above are good but I find that, when the sky is an important part of the scene and not just a background, the best is to postwork it. There are excellent free star brushes available in the net. Because the sky can be easily isolated with the corresponding Z image (depth), it's easy to do it.
Thread: Best technique to approach the look of destructed, broken buildings and stuff (v | Forum: Vue
Instead of a rock, I use a Vue terrain. It's basically the same technique but it's more flexible and you can control better the cut into the object. It also gives a more random look, imho.
One important thing is that the terrain (or rock) to be used should have the same texture as the object being cut. Otherwise, the borders appear with a different texture.
Another important thing is that, with some really complex objects (like Poser imported object) it's better to bake them before the boolean operation. Otherwise, Vue crashes many times during render time (at least mine does).
Thread: Clothes for Apollo? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I went to the site again and there it was, zip files for clothing! I didn't see that before, I could swear they weren't there! Oh, well...
All is well now, thanks!

Yes, version control would be really a good idea! Specially with this big flow of new versions coming from the critiques, that would be really great.

@giorgio_2004 quote *"making multiple comments on an image"
sometimes I also want to do that and the solution is easy: I copy to clipboard the text of my old comment, delete my comment, create a new comment, paste the original text into the new comment and add/change what I like, always marked with an "edit".
Thread: Vue 6 Esprit's Infinite Terrain Creation | Forum: Vue
Hi!
To create an infinite ground (which is what I supose you are asking) you can use the top button on the toolbar on the left. Right click there, choose ground and then left click it to create it. But this is not exactly a "terrain", this is just the ground. A "terrain" can not be infinite. Terrains can be created on the 4th button from the top in the same toolbar. After created, you can resize it to a very big dimension but it is not infinite. But I strongly recommend that you read the manual...
Regarding your 2nd question, everyone would like to have that answer! Tell me if you find it... LOL
I know for myself that sometimes I make something I find stupid and other people like it and other times I really try to make something good and people don't like it. So, who knows?!...
Just follow your instinct and start creating. You will learn as you go.
Regards,
Artur

This can't be right, can it? I haven't received any upload ebot in the last 12 hours! I receive other ebots and mails but no ebot for new pictures. Is this possible in such a big group? I wonder if there's something wrong, somewhere...
Thread: Want critiques? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Strange thing just happened to me!
I just saw pjz99 picture in the gallery but I didn't receive any ebot! I just saw it by accident! I went to my favourite artists page and pjz99 name was missing! How can that be? Has this happened only to me?
Well, I will add you again, my friend, for sure I dont want to miss any of your pictures!
