Sorry, just realized that part d of chapter 3 has an error in the link and I can't edit the post anymore.
The correct link is this one:
Dern, oh well, you could host them on YouTube, or maybe talk to Vladimir of GeekAtPlay and ask to collaborate? :)

Excellent! I like it, more please:)

Can someone please check and give me some feedback if the videos are still watchable? Screencast tells me that my bandwidth is exceeded and that users can not see it anymore, but I keep seeing the number of views continuously increasing (the first chapter has now 36 views and just 10 minutes ago it had 33).
(Cherryman: yes, I am male. Haha!).

I just watched the first chapter - Ground Cover - without any problems.
Thank you very much for the tutorials. The tutorials load fine. I also downloaded GeoControl demo, it looks very powerful and complicated. Something new to learn.

Well, I just finished watching Chapter 1. I must say, it's amazing: as I was following along, many things you showed seemed that they should be intuitively done -- yet those were the very things that have eluded me in the creation of my ecosystems!
And it made me reflect on the scores of tests I've done; I now understand a bit better why many of my landscapes struck me as being off. Looking forward to watching the rest of your tutorial!

You could always put it in Renderosity's video tutorial section (if it can meet the requirments or be made to do so).Cornucopia has a new classroom page and will host the tutorials. Just drop an e-mail to classroom@cornucopia3d.com

Sorry, but my bandwidth was definitely exceeded now and videos are blocked. I'm looking at alternative places now. I tried youtube but their compression is horrible and the videos become all blurred. I tried Renderosity but their resolution size is 640x480 and that's too low. Peggy, thanks for the info on C3D.
Thank you all for the interest in my videos! I will let you know as soon as I have another solution.

I have seen great videos in high quality (usually adding &fmt=18 to URL does the trick) and recently I have started seen videos in HD quality. Anyway, I think that the best option is to talk with GeekAtPlay people.
Bye and thanks again!

A possible link-up with GeekatPlay, .......... offering the same option:i.e. watch the tutorials one-by-one on the web site and/or support the author(s) by buying the download / DVD?
(I appreciate that this notion has already been mentioned at the beginning of the thread, but no harm in repeating it..........I hope!)
Many thanks for your support, I really appreciate it!
In the meantime, Geekatplay was very kind and offered me a space in their site. But my videos are not in an appropriate format, resolution, etc, to fit in their site, so I will make a new longer video, and I will take the time to add some extra information that I wasn't able to include in these short clips (namely, I will add more info on lighting and I will reproduce the workflow without using Geocontrol).
Until I produce that video to G@P, below you can find my original videos, now hosted in a space so kindly offered by Angelsinger. A Big Thank You goes to Angelsinger! :-)
Shawn, you proposed that I would write a PDF. I'm really sorry, but I really have no time. Making these video clips took me about 2 hours. If I would write a PDF, I would have to plan everything carefully (because there's no way I could pack everything in, so I would have to select), grab screenshots, write text, make the composition... That could easily take several days. I really have no time for this, sorry... :-(

Hi!
In the last months I received several requests to make tutorials about some of my images. I just completed now a series of clips on one of the images that received more requests, "sic transit gloria mundi", link here:
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1782571
So, below you can find the links for the tutorials. The video clips are fairly big but I don't have control over this because I'm recording this with Jing, a free tool from www.screencast.com, and there's no possibility to increase the video compression in the free version. So, a good bandwidth is advisable to watch these videos.
Another thing that some might not like is that the videos are limited to around 5 minutes each. This is another limit of Jing.
English is not my native language, so please apologize for any mistake during the videos.
A word of warning: these videos do assume a certain level of knowledge in Vue.
