After reading the thread (because the subject really interests me) I remain a question.
What would be the advantage of HD morph, if it's more difficult to create, slower rendering and is not available to everyone over the displace / bump / normal maps
ps. really nice char Rawnrr remember me to "ARMY OF DARKNESS"
Thread: Install DIM Format Files In Poser without the Install Manager??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ok RHaseltine , I think understand, thanks for your detailed reply , was very very clear.
Then I would be useful to know how to uninstall the "The Content Management Service " , because from what I've seen to the "DIM Install Manager" do not have the option to not install "The Content Management Service ".
I'll go see daz page to see if they explain how to do it
Thread: Dawn's Impact on the Poserverse. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Hi RorrKonn, no probs, but it ALWAYS seems to be the same people complaining about Dawn, some with a bit of talant, but won't do anything for her.
Plus all this other stuff that has NOTHING to do with Dawn, she's not V4, Genesis or whatever, but it seems as if the mod cannot do their job and take it out.
Amazing that certain peoples comments dissapear VERY quickly, while other peoples friends stuff stays.
Great Uncle LROG
always the same, the exchange of ideas are interesting, until they same (dumbs is the word?) appear to hinder the conversation hoping to put your little sign "daz has ...." and any moderator and give them a good kick in the ass once and for all.
One idea, why instead of closing the thread , do not suspend people who interrupt the conversation, or maybe be a seller gives you the right to do whatever you want...
Thread: Modify Dynamic clothes in ZBrush ???? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - maybe there's more for you in http://www.book.artbeeweb.nl/?book=cloth-room[not for beginners, and the “How to get your PhD in Poser Cloth Simulation” section is called so for a reason :-) ]
I've put your site in my favorite , there are several things I want to read in detail (the simulation of clothing and the subject of "render passes")
thanks
Thread: Modify Dynamic clothes in ZBrush ???? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
first at all , thank you for your answers, the methods that desccriben vilters and plutom work, in fact I used the vilters method in any occasion , the disadvantage is that it is not as direct as the one I use for conform clothes , because once imported I have to adjust the coordinates "by hand" but it works
maybe import modified clothing as morph to the original ?? , I'll try...
aRtBee thanks for your description of how the simulation works is very interesting and illustrative
Thread: vascularity bump morphs for V4 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - > Quote - The vascular map can be controlled or applied to specific body body parts; the script allows these changes.
I hope it is a simple proces to do that I am not exactly a Poser wiz when it comes to more complex operations and the Materials Room eludes and befuddles me forcing me to use the simple mapping room. :(
In fact the product allows be applied to the maps of the torso or limbs maps, if you must do something more "personalized" you need playing into the material room, also enables setting control the strength of the bump map and color, the process is not complicated, now if your need a good "after sales service" there must be honest and say that in my case attention has been really really bad
I hope it's help you
Thread: Zbrush GoZ and genesis models does not work properly in Poser 2012 ??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Ok, I don't have Genesis installed in Poser at the moment, so I can't do the same tests.
Did you send Genesis back and forth between zbrush and poser more than once or did you do the entire morph in one go?
You can try selecting each body part that you aren't happy with, like the waist for example, and dial the morph back down so that it's less than full strength. Full strength is 1.00, so start at 0.50 and experiment with that. 0.75, 0.25, etc. Then you can save that as the full body morph.
If you send a figure to zbrush and sculpt on it, then send it back to Poser, it creates an FBM for that sculpting session. If you then send it back to zbrush with the morph dialed in, sculpt some more and send back to poser again, then the morphs get stacked, so whatever you do in zbrush each time will compound the morph you already have applied in poser. That's probably not the best way to describe it but I don't know how to explain it much better without examples.
So instead, once you have made the morph in z-brush the first time, and sent it back to Poser to test, don't goZ back to zbrush again. Just tab over to zbrush, make the changes you want, and go-z back to Poser. Set your first test morph in poser back to 0 and then the new morph to 1. Each time you need to make changes in zbrush, just goZ from zbrush back. Don't goZ TO zbrush each time, or the morphs will stack on each other and it can get confusing pretty fast.
Hope all that makes sense.
ETA: This is the way it works for all the other figures in Poser, but since Genesis isn't a Poser figure it might not work that way. I'll experiment with it once I get Genesis into Poser, which I have yet to be able to do.
~Shane
Yes Yes ,that makes sense. I think I understand what you mean, I'll try to see what happens using the method you describe, might be able do something
In any case thanks for the idea and the time you used to tell me about it AmbientShade
Thread: Zbrush GoZ and genesis models does not work properly in Poser 2012 ??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Are you trying to sculpt on the subdivided figure? Any morphs have to be done on the unsubdivided cage or it won't actually import the morph into the genesis figure itself since that's only 18K polys.
Also, the DSON importer just imports the figure. Because it is not native to Poser you really can't do development with it, hence the issues with GoZ. That has to be done in DS, so it's probably not going to fit your workflow.
You can use JoePublic's method of creating a CR2 from a genesis figure and break the DSON link and try to sculpt on the low poly version of that, but you lose most of the abilities of Genesis.
Yes , I tried to sculpt without subdividing and subdividing but I have been unable to work as the other models work, I suspected it was a limitation of the model in poser but needed confirmation before keep on trying
I read JoePublic's method of creating a CR2 from a genesis figure but not what I'm looking for
maybe you're right and it's probably not going to fit with my workflow.
Thank you for your answer Male_M3dia

AmbientShade as you say I read that in daz genesis works well but I work with poser and my workflow would be a complication install DAZ and then export the figure, therefore why I'm trying to make it work with my P2012
Teyon, a long time ago to use the bridge and I have no problem with other caracteres than genesis, there you Upload a sample to illustrate what happens to me, if under the morph dial to 0.5 is more like what you sculpt in zBrush, but never the same
1 picture : character genesis in Poser 2012
2 pic: Zbrush modified image brush (via goz), it only made a litlle a waist and enlarge the pectoral and quadriceps (very little modifications)
3 pic :morph applied (a lot shrinking the waist, legs and chest are enlarged it also much more sculpted)

Thread: Dawn's Impact on the Poserverse. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
However, I think if you look up one post from yours, I think someone has just blasted your theory out the water. ;)
Besides considering you responded to someone that actually made several Dawn products on Hivewire's site that work in Poser, this type of thinking really needs to be re-evaluated as his thoughts would carry more weight than someone that hasn't made anything.
first:
Might be a more specific Male_M3dia?, I see nothing to pull my theory that There are lots of "daz trolls", to call in some way, that the only thing interests him is break posts with hidden advertising, to the water as you say...
If it were so . I would be the first to say, I learn more from my mistakes than from my successes
second:
Something can be said for the "King of the universe" and that does not make it true, maybe you should read back what I wrote before asking me to reevaluate something, because I feel that you answering... ¿silly things is the word?
ps.really, you follow different forum threads or just post the answer to be "politically correct"?
ps2:I do not speak English natively, no sentence has been written with the intention to offend anyone, if a word so it does, my apologies

Quote - > Quote - And yet another DAZ vendor arrives on the scene.
Why does being a DAZ vendor disqualify anyones comments?
Most of us DAZ vendors still make poser products and are poser users.
We keep a close eye on everything involved in this community and what products are available. Why must you make the environment here inhospitable to DAZ vendors?
We are all part of this community.
I think that the problem is not that you are or not daz seller , really the problem is that in general always the same "daz sellers " (and I think we all know who they are) interrupt interesting convesaciones with misleading comments for the sole purpose of promoting a daz , and I really pisses me off these interruptions as also bothers me interesting threads are closed thanks to these "bugs" rather than a moderator put in its place
ps.just my opinion
Thread: Dawn's Impact on the Poserverse. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The time passes and nothing changes, I always see the same users are striving to turn the conversations to get their snacks (DAZ Ultra mega HD technology , EXTRA EXTRA "the people massively turns one genesis 1" -sorry, I forgot that G1 was a failure G2 now... soon G3 and we have to buy everything back - blah blah blah ,blah blah blah, blah blah blah... , I understand they are selling , but really sound very desperate...
you know that this site is a place to discuss things about DAZ, with trillions of users like daz ¿ has to need to come to denature in discussions here?
back to the original topic I think it's too early to give an opinion on the impact of DAWN , time will show , I desire to work very well and becomes a new alternative
