Yep, the water surface that comes with that tub is no good for Reality/LuxRender.
Just restarted the render using a 'cleaned up' version, and it already looks completely different!
Getting rid of that second, inverted plane isn't difficult to do in MeshLab though.
Just wish I'd known about it earlier : (
Cheers!

Just had a closer look at the waterplane that comes with that tub I used in MeshLab, and now I suspect LuxRender might have a problem with it. It looks like it consists of two back-to-back meshes sharing the same plane. I cannot imagine this to be compatible with LuxRender's procedural water.
Maybe I should restart that render from scratch, using a modified water surface.
Hmmm....
Cheers!

It's the "El_Lee_victorian-era-inspired-tub_67105",
and
"El_Lee_victorian-inspired-bathtub-add-on-faucet-and-water-plane_67135"
Found it as a freebee here at Renderosity.

This one still is in its early stages, but I just got home from work (left my computer crunching numbers while I was away) and liked it so much already that I wanted to show it right away : )
Have a nice weekend all,
Cheers!

Quote - Yes, you can do that by selecting your figure (ie. genesis) and then replace it with a new one. When that figure has loaded complete you simply chose undo - you have your original figure back with the new morphs.
Hope that helps.
Hey, brilliant!
Thanks for that trick, I really needed that!
Cheers!
ps: Doc, am I correct in assuming my morphs indeed worked properly on your computer? If so, will they also work on a Mac without any modification?

Just in case anyone is interested, I've uploaded my zipped V5 push-up morphs (L+R) to my website. Here's the URL:
http://www.erikleeman.com/ZIP/Push-Up_Morph.zip
(I've included the directory path for Windows PC)
Please Note: Although they do work with the standard Genesis female figure, they only work as intended with V5!
I haven't tried installing these .dsf's on any other PC yet, so I really don't know if they will work on yours. If they don't, you can always extract the deltas from them and make your own controls for DAZ Studio.
Question: is there a way to insert newly made morphs into already existing Genesis projects? To my frustration I haven't been able to do that, but maybe that's how it's supposed to work in DAZ Studio?
Cheers!
Erik

"It looked so easy when Dolly Parton did it"
(part of a mini-series of images on DA)
IBL, and a bit of Zbrushing for the push-up effect.
None of the DAZ morphs gave her a good 'lift', every combination I tried caused ugly ridges or folds, so I made my own control slider for V5 using GoZ. It's absolutely great to have that possibility!
Cheers!

I guess it's okay to post nudes in this thread, so here's one of mine just for the heck of it ;)
Hope you like it.
There was some Zbrushing involved in this one, nothing too drastic though.
Cheers!

Hi all,
My first post here, I hope everything works as intended : )
Been away for a month, but also been working hard to improve my DAZ/Reality skills.
Quite a few fresh images in my spanking new DA collection, but to be honest many of them still need hours and hours of cooking to get rid of all residual noise. Nevertheless I would be pleased if some of you would care to take a look, and perhaps even leave a comment or two. Thanks in advance!

Here's one of them (if I manage to do this correctly), Cheers!
