75 to a hundred peices per model sounds great, but it is important the peices are quality work, you can't make up for quality with quantity, focus on the quality, with plenty of details, texture, bump, etc. Some of the scenes I'm seeing on Renderosity are looking terrific. The bench mark is being raised.

Leather-guy mentioned a sunken pirate ship for underwater scenes. A ornate highly detailed Pirate ship, with a sunken ship version sounds great. Check out the childrens books that show the cut-away drawing of old ships, lots of interior, exterior sets. The possiables for different scenes are fantastic, every thing from manning the cannon, lookout in the crows nest, fighting for treasure, moody charactor peices, (male & female) :), mermaids, mermen, seamonsters, giant squid, and more ...stopping to take a breath As you can guess I'm enthusiastic about a PIRATE SHIP. The price for a hi-res multi CD, would be OK as long as it is REALLY Hi quality.

I'd go for a pirate ship, with fancy interiors, ship rigging, cannon, lots and lots of detail, I'm ready for it now!
Thread: Actual 'artists' or perhaps just 'compositors'...... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The business about "post work", the way I look at it, I would use whatever program(s) does the job best. If the limitations are some kind of requirement of a project/contest, that I understand,or if you want to handicap yourself by setting limitations, fine, but why get excited when someone else doesn't?

Just enjoy what you are doing. Don't worry about about Fine Art, Illustration, Craft, or who thinks what, definitions are transitory anyway. The line that defines What "art" is moves every generation, just check out the current ...isms. So Enjoy yourself, do your thing.

NightWatch by Rembrandt ARMOUR by Klink Armory, PIkes by Ralph Armory, WOMEMS CLOTHING by Harriets Clothing, MENS CLOTHING by Williams Weskets, DOG by Barks Breeders, DOG COLLAR by Doggone Inc, LAMPS by HiLit, BUILDING DESIGN by House of Houses, COBBLESTONES by Stony, JEWELS by Sparkle Plenty, SHOES by Poorsole, etc, etc, etc. That old compositor just used all the canvas for credits, no room left to paint the picture.
