Thanks Boofy. The colours on the previous post are, I think, all standard Carrara shaders. I've had a play with the shaders and set a lot more domains. The paneling colour though, is still a standard Carrara shader. But very much the translucency I'm looking to get, but maybe not the colour. Subject to scene requirements I guess.

Hi, Work in progress The colours have just been slapped on to see how she looks Modelled in Amapi D7, Rendered in Carrara 6P More Carrara modelling to do, and rig etc.

Mesh viewable on the Amapi forum.

Hi, Thanks Boofy. The maroony colour was achieved with the Anything Goo's plugin for Carrara, which you can use to add grime etc from the most densely packed mesh areas out.

Can't seem to get of the theme though.
Taken a bit further from the Mouse mesh and I've ended with a Duck.
Daffy, Howard not donald.

What I might do is a morphing duck in Carrara, between Daffy and Howard, using the filter cannister (not shown here).

Boofy, Not a bad idea. The yellow is reflection of the enviroment map. Might try it tomorrow though. Of to bed now.

Hi all, Bit of an update. Took the obj into Carrara 6P for final modelling, Shader domains and textures. Not sure it's turned out creepy though?

WOW!! Away for a little while and lots to see here, Great stuff everyone. I was thinking of modelling a gas mask, and whilst inspecting several photo's on the net to get an idea of form and function, I came across something that chilled me to the core. A Mickey Mouse Gas Mask?!! Apparently only prototypes were made, ment only for kids. But I thought it would be quite creepy as a battlefield mask? The modelling so far. Z.

HI, Couldn't wait for the Carrara update, So I skinned him anyway. Most of him was O'kay, (If the pose isn't too extreme) but I still need to do some more work on weighting his crotch area.
