I think magnemoe was refering to creating bodyhandles as far as the setup room is concerned, and no from my experience the setup room will not destroy morphs unless you regroup your mesh.

oh the temp file was an .rsr file that gets created in the geometries folder but you wouldn't get that unless you are still using Poser 4

the left bicep problem is that you need to reinstall new versions of both the morphs and M3, go to your DAZ, account history, and reset both M3 and the morphs, and download them. the problem was a very early issue, which as I recall was fixed less than a week after he was released, and if the figure in your poser runtime that you are loading isn't Michael 3 SR1 you are using the original figure which was where the problem was.

one thing you have to watch out for when turning morphs created with the morph brush into injections is that blank injection channels for figures that have them are set up after the joint, but the morph brush puts the morph channel before the joint(though if you look at the cr2 in a text editor that seems backwards, but Poser reads the bodyparts from bottom to top)Which makes a big difference in how the morph reacts to joint movement, so while it is possible that your morph created with the morph brush, will work as expected in an injection, its also possible that it will not.

ah for V3 you are better off going through Injection pose builder to create a morph injection. the morphs dont really corrospond between V3 and V4, the character wouldnt really be the same.

what base figure are you using? and are you using custom morphs you created yourself or are you combining commercial morphs? you only have to deal with injection poses with the Mil 3 figures if you are using stock poses. V4 you can save a character pose right in Poser (and any other figures other than the mil 3 figures if you have Poser 7) just save the pose and when it asks if you want to include morphs just affirm that.

I certainly think that the new owners of Poser might like to know that many of the customers they are aiming this new product squarely at, after reviewing the promised new features, feel that the pricepoint they are asking is far too high for many of us to consider adding it to our arsinal, before they release this product, so that they may reconsider their options. I for one am really not interested in the upgrade option that they have suggested will be in place. An upgrade to a stripped down version which lacks the only features that I am interested in doesn't seem any upgrade at all to me. And buying an all new copy at $500, of a piece of software I already own certainly is of no interest to me. I as well as several others in this thread are in that group of users who also use a higher end 3d suite, so we are the group the "Pro" version is supposedly aimed at. if we who actually have integrated poser and it's content into our workflow are already saying Pass, than what is the chance that they will be able to intice the rest of the high end market which has traditionally looked down on Poser?

V4 can be used in Poser 5 but unless you edit a lot of files to change the version number you will get a lot of warnings about a newer version becouse all the files are set for P6. The poser joint falloff system was improved slightly between poser 5 and 6 and V4 was created using the P6/7 joint settings. so you will find that some bends are not as good in P5 as they are in P6/7 and studio.

I think it would be extremely difficult to create one figure that can do all of the anime styles simply becouse those styles are so varied some are extremely cartoony and some more realistic. I like the combo of Aiko and BelBel and AikoToon, that gives you multiple head styles with the same base figure. most Aiko clothing will work with all 3 to some extent.

It won't load the object itself? thats strange. she will load slowly if the !DAZ folder is in an external runtime and you dont have file prefrences in poser 7 set to shallow, but Poser should be able to find the object no problem. you are sure that the object you are looking at is the right one. the one for V4.1 is blMilWom_v4b.obj not blMilWom_v4.obj (note the b at the end of the name)?

V4.1 also added a seperate Eyebrow mesh as per the request of a number of people in the community. (some textures may require V4.1 for this reason)

yep, you can even load the avatars into poser and pose them, I believe that a lot of second life users use Poser to create animation sets to import into SL

there seems to be some misunderstanding about injection and V4 all of her standard morphs are already there, they dont need to be injected or removed. so unless you are wanting to add a new custom morphs created from scratch not from dials you do not need to do injections at all or rem poses becouse there is nothing to inj. or rem. just Morph Poses.
