SHONNER.

Yes there is displacement. Done in Carrara 6P.
More noticable in the gray form.
The colour version has SSS and bump.

Fab stuff guys Now have Carrara 6P and thought I'd have a go at a project from start to finish without using any other applications. The progress so far, without colour.

Yes.
I have to agree.
Although this mesh is more a base, for possibly other character creations.
The features are smooth and somewhat bland, without any distinction.
Hopefully then I can use him for more than just comicy/ cartoony layouts.
I didn't want to over populate the wire and then have to start stripping back, to then move forward.
And yes.
I could not bring myself to do a tubby over the hill Dredd.
It's just not possible for me to defile one of my all time favourite characters.
Although some hardcorers might consider it an abomination already!!!!!

Hi all, Had a request to show some mesh. So, here we go. The Rocketeer. Modelled primerally in Amapi D7 with creasing and tweeks in Carrara 5P.

Hi again, Thought I'd have a go at modelling someone I thought I knew well. Myself. And not do myself any favours. The head is nearing completion and I'm about to move onto the body. (I didn't realize what a strange shape my body is) Modelled in Amapi D7, shaders and render in Carrara 5P.

Oh yeah, I've tried this displacement painting thing in Silo on the face and I cant seem to save the displacement map out. Any tips?

Hi, Work in progress. Modelled in Amapi D7, rigged, skinned, mapped and renedered in Carrara 5P. A kinda everyman base figure. Haven't realy desided what I'm gonna do with him though. The texture is a rust texture I did in Carrara. Thanks for any interest.

Ummmm!!
The last image I used the replicator on was "BBnB"
Lots of spent shell casings.
There was no terrain in the scene.
I try to get everything in the scene and render in one go.
I don't like doing post.
Lazy I guess.

Hey, Yeah the replicator is pritty cool. I have used it for Bats, in my image "Queeen of Bats". But they were in the background and kinda looked more like flies. There is a close up of the bat I modelled for it though.
