Hi, Bonestructure, I'm using PSP 6.0. I don't remember ever having had that problem with PSP before. It is almost slightly "softening" the image when saving it to JPEG. I wonder if they have added some new "feature" that is causing this. I'll have to dig into preferences. Art, I have ACSee, I'll have to try doing the conversion there. Thanks. Fiontar

Picnic, Thanks for the links and info. I do most of my work late at night, so I won't be able to try this out and respond until tomorrow. I'll let you know how it turns out. :) Thanks, Fiontar
Thread: Athlon vs. PIII..... (it is actually on-topic here!) | Forum: Carrara
Bryce benchmarks are hard to find. Bryce 2 is part of SYSMARK 98, so I was able to find some numbers on Anandtech: Time in seconds to render benchmark Bryce 2.0 scene, lower is better: Celeron 500 Mhz: 136.79 PIII 500 Mhz: 132.9 Athlon 500 Mhz: 105.2 Some other Athlon results: Athlon 600 Mhz: 86.7 Athlon 700 Mhz: 76.46 Hope these help.
