I allways use this link for bird wings reference. Im posting again, just in case someone miss the previous. Good job, ominousplay!Thread: Curious about Carrara's claims about art done with Carrara | Forum: Carrara
Sorry, SHONNER. Thats exactly what I mean when I wrote "What EOVIAs do its like a whisky advertise with tea inside the bottle". Maybe its a low trick to sell Carrara to the costumers. And I agree with Pete about the newbies be fooled. But we cant believe in everything what EOVIAs wrote. For that reason exists the trial version of the products. You like it, you buy it.

I believe that model can be done in Carrara. ;-)
What EOVIAs do its like a whisky advertise with tea inside the bottle. But I think its doesnt matter if you need to retouch your scene with Photoshop or use Mental Ray to render a model. The only limit is the artist skills. A good artist can use various tools to create a illusion. So,if I cant convince my clients with my renders, screw me! Im gonna sell popcorn in football stadiuns to survive! ;-D

Thanks, bluetone. And, dont worry, hes fruitivorous... ;-)
Its a old project, falconperigot. I wrote the story almost 6 years ago, but dont have time to ilustrate it (soooo lazy, in fact...). Now Im considering not only a book, but a animation and a toy line based in this character too. Who knows...? Dream is not a crime, am I right? ;-)

LOL! Youre right, falconperigot. I didnt note that. Thanks. Im almost understanding the IK principles in Carrara (since RDS Ive never be able to make this thing work). Its much easier now. Take a look at THIS NEW ANIMATION. I use the IK Chain and the multiple morphs. Its a childrens book character.

Thanks, gavotte! The primary animation can be viewed HERE. In Flash, 539 K. I use the motion blur feature. :-)

Thank you all! The batwings give me more work, because theyre nothing more then big hands with skin between the fingers. The old problem came back: bones and hands. But, since the fingers are thin, the distortion is almost imperceptible. In fact, the real mess occurs on the wingskin this time. Im trying an animation, lets see what happens . ;-)
Thread: Model hands | Forum: Carrara
Really cool, ominousplay. But, like you say, the hand is tough! Im considering try morph targets to make a fist. Every time I use the bones is the same problem...

Kelley, the effects was created in Carrara. I put in a Flash animation to avoid video codecs erros, media players and other stuff. Download the .car file with a flame from the link above.Message edited on: 02/15/2005 11:59

The link is http://www.grutadaonca.com.br/noviski/rocket.html. And, as SHONNER wrote, you need the Flash plugin.

Kelley, Im not using motion capture. The characters are a printable material, not for animation. Thaks! And thank you all for the comments. Soon Ill be posting other images very soon, because the forum opinion is very important to me. Thanks again, and sorry about my English...
