Subject: The Lion Tamer: Payback!

Hi, guys!

I was thinking on that image: a circus lion with a burned tail take his revenge throwing the tamer trough the ring of fire. The modeling was an idea for the 3D Total Forum's Stylized Challenge (The Circus). But, I'm a lazy bastard, the challenge has rules, and I don't wanna capture my working progress and put the step by step at the forum, so... what better place to publish the render results besides here? ;)

Totally modeled in Carrara PRO 8, Photoshop CS3 for the textures. The ring of fire is a mix of Surface Replicator and a Particle Emiter.

Please, any feedback is allways welcome.

Regards!

Ha-ha! Cute. :)

Perhaps just a tiny bit more dismay/surprise on the trainer's face?

I also think it came out very nice.  The modeling is well done and the fire effects look just right!

Thank you! :)

This picture gave me an idea for an animated short. I do not know how much time'll take to finish it, but I'll try anyway (how about years...?).
I started animating the ring of fire. I think it looks good, using only the Carrara shaders and the SparrowHawke3D's Edge Fallof plugin to create the animated flames.

Best regards!
