Personally, I think the ties should be all the same size. As it is, it looks like they have been projected on to the texture at an angle. They might be better in gold, as well.
Thread: Which 3D program should I get for making poser stuff??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Rhino is excellent value for money. I learnt a lot by using the free program Anim8or - for simple items it's quite good.
Thread: 3D text in bryce 4? | Forum: Bryce
The easiest way is to use a 3d modeller. Anim8or is free, and fine for tasks like this. Type in your text, save as .obj, import to Bryce and off you go.

Thread: Why don't these morphs work? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I found the answer eventually. The Eve3 .rsr file was corrupt. Took me a while, though. Everything is now fine.

They don't do anything on the individual body parts. In which case - Did anyone else get these characters to work, and if so, did you use Eve 3 v1 or v2? The obj reference in the cr2 is Runtime:Geometries:P4NudeWoman:P4NWEveV3.obj, which matches the file I have.
Thread: Rooms in Bryce | Forum: Bryce
It's the detail that counts. Look around the room you're in now, and observe all the places it deviates from four blocks for walls and two planes for floor and ceiling. Look for: wainscotting, door frames, window frames, window sills, cornices, recesses, flat arches. Most rooms are not straight boxes. Incidentally, I reckon rooms are one of Bryce's strong areas because of the useful tools it provides for rotating and positioning things in a precise way.

AFAIK, it isn't the case that anything that appears in an EULA necessarily has legal force. There's a story, I don't know if it's true, that Microsoft tried to put in a clause that would prohibit using Microsoft software to write anything that was unflattering to Microsoft. You can't do that sort of thing. There are laws of copyright, and those are what count. If you take a DAZ mesh, shift every polygon randomly a fraction, and then try to publish the result, you have created a derivative mesh and that's bad. If you model the mesh from scratch and then just check that it fits Vicki as suggested by thip above, that's not derivative, even if DAZ would like to define it as so. DAZ does not have the power to change copyright law or the meaning of the English language just to suit its business model.

Thread: Poser Users - Bryce/Vue techniques | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The fact that Bryce doesn't recognise .pz3 is regrettable, but I prefer to texture everything in Bryce anyway. The materials editor is very nice to use once you get the hang of it. I'm still using Bryce 4 so I haven't had casamerica's problems. To my mind the choice between Bryce and Vue is largely down to the sort of pictures you are interested in. If primarily landscapes, go for Vue. If primarily interiors, Bryce is much better. If you have either Bryce or Vue, there is absolutely no point in trying to use the Poser render engine for anything other than quick-see looks at the figures.

I can't get at the site! I try to register and I get an error message saying someone has already registered with my email address. Not possible. So I'm stuck, no way to proceed. Bring back 3DCC! Dontcha hate the way every little site now requires you to register before it will let you in? I'm drowning in passwords!
Thread: Postwork: yay or nay? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It's a shame if one gets to the level that compositional choices are crippled by the desire to avoid renders that need postwork. I know someone who used to arrange things so that if a figure was kneeling, there would be some object that hid the knees so you couldn't see they were broken. It looked so silly! And so much easier just to let Poser do them broken and touch them up later.
