Have you tried deleting the ground plane? Sorry, couldn't help myself...8^)... If no ground is to be showing, you might just change the angle of view until the horizon is no longer seen.

I built one once, but the file is inaccessable (hard-drive coughed a hairball). Made a symetrical lattice body and stuck a crocodile head on it I found on one of the many wonderful sites out there, gave it some fins and it turned out a hell of alot better than one would think...I'll make you one if you need it. I'll see if I can find the readme file on the croc....

Export as obj, unless, as i recently discovered, you have about ten 3ds props going....very nasty lockup, it didn't like trying to export it as an obj...as for the textures, they translate well into bryce, just adjust the specularity a bit.

First thing to try would be: select the hair, then go up to "figure", and select "conform to..."...this will put you in a separate window where you can choose what figure it will conform to, typically figure 1. If that doesn't work, select the hair and hit "object", and hit "change parent". It will give you a list, scroll down until you see figure 1's head, and select that. One or the other should work. I am a bit new to poser also, so if someone out there can add to this, please do. Happy posing.
