Ookami, I just re-installed all my programs when I upgraded to XP, so it was not a copy over. I also copied the Tailor program to my old Win98 machine which never had poser installed and copied the cr2 files I was going to use and had the same results, no MT. I went through the entire registry and also searched for reference in any .ini file but nothing made any difference. I was thinking the same thing as you, maybe that it was not finding the obj. Well, I hate going to sleep without figuring it out (I hate losing to a program!) But hopefully we will hear something tomorrow. I am so wanting to use this program, it will be great!

There has got to be something missing here. Some are getting MT and some aren't. My figures are showing up with the CR2 name, then NoName when expanded. I have tried all the figures and end up with the same thing. These include Mike, Mike2, Vicki, Vicki2, DorkP4, etc. I see you used MM Thor and he worked for you. I tried him too, but no luck either. Maybe we have a corrupted program or DLL file?

I just tried it on my older, Win98 System with same results =( Using base Mike 2 and the Shorts. No MT so I can't transfer. Thought maybe the XP was causing problems (nah, that never happens, hehe) Still trying different things.

Not working for me either. (I bought it) THose who have had some success, could you tell us if you are using the Pro Pack or not? I have the Pro Pack, and I am in the same boat, no morph targets show up at all. JDexter

It's a Napster like program Sharon, except you can share any files. I am amazed that it is running rampant while Napster got taken to court. BTW, Goth, I don't condone anyone using this criminal thing, but why is it okay to use it for music and not for art? Neither is correct, IMHO.

I use Windows XP and haven't been having a problem at all with Poser 4, except and occasional graphic glitch with my GE2. Sounds like you might just have a corrupt install to me. You might want to rename the directory and re-install Poser. After that, then you can delete the renamed directory (I say rename it, so it doesn't install it to the same phsical location, in case there is a bad spot) Then I would make sure to defrag the hard drive. XP is a good system, but it does have some wonky things go wrong with it. Usually a lot to do with the graphics cards. Good luck. J. Dexter

I agree. Weren't they once from the same company? Would have thought it would have had that functionality built in.

I use Carrara 1.1. It really is a great program once you figure out some of the oddities (Like transparancies)

I have seen this on my Win98 and my Win XP machine as well. Not as severe (I don't crash on exit) but it is annoying. I also see this problem with Poser too. PS6, Corel, Bryce don't do it. Let us know what you find out. J. Dexter

I was bored, waiting in my Doctor's office yesterday and had my laptop with me. Viola! At least it passed the time (3 hour wait =( )

I was thinking about doing just that actually. Problem is, taking it from what I know worked and putting into a form that people could understand. The way I did it was a varient from the one you posted on my other thread. The idea was similar, but there were specific to my piece that had to be different. I will write out what I did and then try to apply it exactly to another figure, then another. Then I will post the tutorial and hope my explanation will be understood.
