Daz makes lousey hair anyway. I can never get Daz hair to look realistic, no matter how much I twiddle with the material settings. It always lloks like it is painted on. It doesn't even really look all that great in their ads. I think it is their transmaps or something. Koz's hair works great with the right material settings and I like the styles.

Problem is some hair was made for P4 and Firefly renders different than P4. An alternate would be to render the scene in the P4 version of P5, but then you lose some of the material room settings, like raytracing I think.

Here is an example plugging in the refract mode

I could tell it was a hoax right away. Where are the huge reel to reel tape recorders and banks of flashing lights? In the 50's everyone knew that computers consisted of huge reel to reel tape recorders and panels of flashing lights, that was how they operated. Just look at any movies made at the time that had a computer in it.

Setting Transparency to 1.0 is correrct. But also set the Transparency Edge to 1.0 instead of 0.0 and Transparency Falloff to 0.6 instead of 0.0. I find if these two values are left at 0.0 you tend to get "ghosts". Could you also show the transmap? It should be completely black for the invisible part. If you have any grey in it, that could also create the effect we are seeing. I am also wondering if the Turbulence attached to the Bump channel could be causing this problem. Do you really need the turbulance? Try getting rid of it and see if that helps.

It's something advertisers learned years ago, sex sells. Don't think for a minute that Naked Ladies wouldn't be all over the TV screens in the US if the FCC would allow it, they are in Europe and Japan, even in the comercials. Nothing gets someone's attention faster than a Naked Lady.

The thing I have a problem with is no matter how good the skin looks, the hair never quite matches up and always gives it away as a rendered image. The skin texture on this one is fantastic, but the hair looks out of focus and course and so doesn't match the skin. I wish I knew a way to make the hair look as good as the skin.
