Also, the materials settings affect the look of the lighting. Many materials, if you use them out of the box, will make your scene look washed out because the ambient setting is too high.

Graphon had a lot of nice oriental weapons in free stuff, but he's had to remove the lot of them because he was getting hit with excess bandwidth charges. Another case of the way the system penalizes those who are generous with their work.

I have NEVER seen that problem with the hair. One other question: how big is the obj? Sometimes Bryce has problems with very large files.

Yes, if you are saving your own poses and remember each time not to save the morphs; no if you are using a downloaded pose. You have no way of telling what the pose does other than by trying it out. And in any case, it would be useful to be able to save the facial expression with a pose without changing the actual face. The other way to be safe is to spawn a morph target of the character's face in repose.

Gotcha, thanks. I had considerably better results last night. Part of the problem is the way that this hair uses grey texture maps which in Poser you can then tint over to get any desired colour. While you can do this up to a point in other rendering apps, it does tend to grey out the hair colour a bit. I may have to work up a couple of custom textures for best results.

For Heaven's sake, let's NOT have more modelling tools! If you want to make models, buy a modelling program. Bryce isn't a modelling program. And leave the interface alone - it's great.
