Poser cannot recognize spaces in the names of the materials. Check to see how the materials are written and if there is a space. I suppose editing the file might work but just to be on the safe side I export it as an object, take it into uvmapper and reassign all the materials naming them again. This has worked for me but it might be a hassle for others. I would also like to know if there is any other way.

Also try Poser Factory, it's a Japanese site and I'm sure there is a morph to make Nene more Asian. Look for a Haruka character as well. Link on the right.

The robe originally was only posable, not conformable. I made it conformable by editing the male tux cr2 and having it point to the .obj Anton gives. However, as Phil said the shins were a problem. What you can do is take it into uvmapper and assign two groups as lshin and rshin I think. Resave this obj and it should work. It did for me although I seem to have lost a morph target. The morphs for the collar have remained intact though.

You can make the texture more defined by using a bump map. You can either make it greyscale and increase contrast, etc. For a really bumpy look you can also use the emboss effect. Most 2D applications have it.

I have to agree with Byte Me. The third's figure looks good with just a touch of the gold, the letters are easily read and don't tire you, the metal has more class IMHO.

Can you post a picture so we can see? Where are you trying to cast the shadow? If it's a wall behind the figure then you must make sure that the wall and ground plane are at a 90 degree angle. It's tricky but it can be done. I also find it easier to use a sqare prop instead of the default ground.
