**digitalman I left you a reply in my original Geometries thread that you posted to last nite as well...I guess this forum doesn't bump threads?
Thread: Question about Geometries? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well...yes and no. I thought I had this figured out until last night when it happened again...Let me explain. After I posted this original message I found a tutorial (I believe it was at Poserworld) that explained it was important to put the OBJ files in the right folders in Geometries in order for the CR2 files to read them. I had sort of been willy-nilly putting OBJ files in the Geometries folder...therefore causing my problem. You can open a CR2 file in "Wordpad" and look at the path....seeing what the correct name of the Geometries folder should be if you're not sure. Once I started doing that it took care of my problem......Or so I thought. Last night I purchased some Daz3d morphing clothing for V3. At first all was well. All of a sudden, I start getting the "cannot find geometries...etc" message on EACH piece of clothing! I'm thinking "What the heck! These are self installing files...I couldn't have screwed them up!" so I tried reinstalling them...same result. Just as I was about to scream, I checked my email this morning and find your reply to my message and your mention of deleting RSR files from the Geometries folder....I went in to the Daz Clothing Folder and deleted all the RSR files and "Presto!" They work! This Poser program is, IMHO, kind of screwy. **PS thanks for your help...I had no idea about deleting RSR files!

You guys were right, I was wrong. **Hears collective nodding of heads.... Files I thought belonged to Vicki3 were P4. I spent a great deal of time yesterday organizing and marking clothing so I'd know what fits who. Here's my fist "real" attempt at making anything in Poser. I tried to make her look frightened but I think I need a bit more practice! Thanks for your help!

Yeah...I tend to jump in headfirst on any project hence tendency to get frustrated lol! I'm always SO eager to learn! Honestly, my worst problems come with conforming to the lower body (thighs mostly). I'll try and get a screenshot up later when I'm at home. I'll also try the "hide" as well and see if that helps and matching V3's dial settings on particular body parts to the clothing and see if it makes the difference. **And practice more on P4 cause she's much easier hehee! Thank you for helping....I really do try to look for tutorials and help sections before asking for help. I appreciate it so much that you're willing to help a Newb.

I am using Vicki 3 and V3 clothes and I am conforming them to her. No morphed body, just the standard Vicki 3 model. The worst of it always seems to be from the thighs down...they're always big "holes" in the clothing with her thighs showing thru. I know that to some extent I could always use the "clone brush" over in PSP to fix it...but that's not how I want to do it. I want to learn how to make it right in Poser...It sounds silly..but I'm getting really bummed out as if I'm a "Poser failure" somehow.
