Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
Make sure the hair is parented to a figure before you apply a MAT pose. MATs don't work on prop hair unless it's parented to a figure.
If that's not it, it could be the old memory issue. It was a bug in P5, and may be still be around in P6. Sometimes, Poser keeps a texture in memory, even after you've changed it. If the hair doesn't change color even when you apply a different texture manually, this is the problem. The solution is to save your work, shut down Poser, and restart it again.
And make you've installed the SR1 patch for P6.

Enlighten me please. I've had P6 since it came out but have had little time to really learn it. I'd pretty much stuck to Poser Artist if I needed anything rendered. Now I'm starting to use P6 and have noticed my MAT/MOR poses aren't working. I've fairly well figured out the material room (well not really, but I can manually apply textures) but for example: my 3Dreams Paradise Hair? None of my MAT Poses work and I have "Style and Move" which is oh, about 30 or so MOR poses for the hair itself and not a single one of them are working in P6. It's not just the Paradise Hair...It's quite a few things..This just happens to be what I'm working on at the moment and I can't get it to do anything. Am I missing something here? Thanks much.
