Or, you could go here http://www.babynames.com/ and get REALLY confused. Actually, since I keep seeing her in or near water, I'd go with a water name such as Kelby or Mailyn as it will also say something about her character.
Thread: Kyoko hair - Attn. Kozaburo and Yamato | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
That's what I did Jeff at first. But since the readme stated I could put the hair in the Hair types library, I did, and then found it would cause the problem. I thought maybe there was some other way other than resorting to bringing in Nene and then deleting her. As for the base thing, it works without it too but I'm just curious if anyone has used the base transparency. It opens up mapped for me as well but when I check it, it doesn't have the transparency for the base anywhere and I thought maybe that was causing the problem. Thanks anyway, I guess I'll just go back to using the whole .pz3 file.
Thread: Does anyone need a PonyTail?? :-) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, the hairline is soooo real. I'm in awe of you guys. Everything you've done is perfect! The bun-style in the middle is my favourite.
Thread: As promised, another creature, comments? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ok, silly question. What preset are you using in the Sketch Designer? Is it a preset or your own? If it's your own, could we have it? :) This one is nice too and with the right texture maps it could really turn out horrific.
Thread: Help! Poser 4 export for Painter3D | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There is a problem with Poser4. I know, I've been there! Just hit the Tutorials links on the right and do a search for Painter 3D. Colm's tutorial is easily the simplest and most understandable. And the others give you some alternate ideas.
Thread: Advanced Techniques Poser Manual | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks a lot everyone. I'm getting it now in hopes of moving on to greater things LOL but I thought it was a more detailed one than the Poser 4. I had been trying to follow the instructions on how to export to Painter 3D but thankfully it dawned on me to check the tutorials. Meta should consider having you guys write the next one!

I just got 3D explorer and I must say Wow!! Nance, it was just what I was looking for. I wasn't aware of it though and the others similar to it didn't have as many options. Thank you again so much!
Thread: Need help finding props | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks everyone. Nance I'll try your idea first since I don't have Ray Dream and I have found grapes in LWO format. Jeff, I could do that but as it will take more time I'm leaving it as a last solution.

Melanie, have you tried the 3D Cafe? I recall seeing quite a number of houses. Not really sure what kind but I had downloaded a haunted type one and an English Tudor-like barn.
Thread: Let's talk about hair... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You might need to remap the hair, trying for example planar, box maps, etc. I know Floydd has done this for the long hair, and you should check out Steve Cox's site for more help in using the UVmapper. Just be sure to save the new mapped obj otherwise the map won't work.
Thread: Morphs versus Scaling | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
And after you get Traveler's Morphs go to Poserworld and get Radart's Tips for Morph targets. The funniest way to learn! You'll see what I mean.
Thread: Cosmo hair ....... again. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
And just to make all of this even more confusing, has anyone downloaded any of the newer files from the Cosmo site? Are they the same files and used the same? And is there more male stuff? Because the pink box that I have has maybe about 3-4. That's my next project, the Poser dude with real hair, poor guy.

Viewers will not show you masks, since they cannot be manipulated in them. Now, when you open the file in PhotoDeluxe select the background solid colour (if it has some kind of magic wand select tool) and invert this selection. So now the hair is selected. I don't know if it will come out the same, as I get it already masked but you can try it and see if the edges come out alright. Otherwise, you'll have to have a look at the Paul Hafeli tutorial and make your own transparency map and use the files within Poser on the square.
