best one for price anyway is ULEAD GIF-X plugin for Photoshop, paint shop pro etc www.ulead.com Thats what I use to make my lightining effects mostly. Lightning and glow effect in this image are from Ulead GIF-X. One problem it has is that by default it sets BACKGROUND LIGHT to 50% so dulls your image, just make sure you move slider up to 100% light in the ULEAD GIFX plugin before you apply it. Alduin, Glad you liked it! :) Not exactly the same , artistic license and the fact that the exact deckplans are not entirely sensible when you figure them out, in regard to size, crew and so on. Plus there would be many variations not everyone would be the same ;) Spelljammer was one of my fave settings, so utterly wild and vast sigh hope it ocmes back with 3rd Ed :/ Damn, fleets of beholders, illithids and two of the best NPCs races: neoghi and giff...what more could you ask for, hehe! Generally I do a ton of work post, as there's no way Bryce can do all I wish. Painting hair to get it looking good on poser imported models. Special effects like flares, fire. Adjusting ligthing in odd ways. Using Dodge and Burn tools to create effects/chnages/highlights. Plugins for stars, flames, smoke and so on. Anything that gets me to the final desired item ;)

Hm, depends what you are eventually wishing but... Why not make a small base for the prominent buildings, generally buildings sit on a platform of some type. Make a grey scale image in 2d application, 1st layer a medium grey, then make a circle with a much lighter grey, then apply a gaussian blur. So you get a blurred circle. Aplly this to a terrain, adjust terrains clipping, materials and height/size to suit. Would that do what you wish? :)"I'd rather be a

No such thing really as a *simple easy to use modeller thats good* (thought I don't know about the new Carrera) Rhino is the easiest, best modeller I have tried as yet.
