Thread: Trouble installing Vue 5 | Forum: Vue
In my Vue5 installation the "videodrv.w2k" driver is installed to: ....../program files/e-on software/Vue 5 Esprit/Environment/videodrv.w2k. I'm running Win XP Pro, SP2. Also, in the same location are "videodrv.nt4 & videodrv.osx". In my Vue 4 Pro installation they are in the same location: ......program files/e-on software/Vue 4 Professional/Environment/videodrv.w2k (and there's a file called "videodrv.w9x" which is not in the Vue 5 folder.) All of these videodrv files are on the install cd, in the "environment" folder & "why" the program is looking for them in C:/program files... (as per your screenshot), I have no idea. They "are" there but for some reason the install program can't find them. Just a shot in the dark, but it might be worth copying the environment file from your cd to the path that shows in your error message and then perhaps the install program can find them?? Another suggestion would be to copy your entire CD to a folder on your hard drive and attempt the installation from there as opposed to directly from the cd. I honestly don't think these errors are related to your video card, but that's just a guess. Good Luck

BTW: The contents of your Vue5.reg file should look "similar" to this: $ROOT$ $MACHINE$ [SOFTWARE] [e-on software] [Vue5] [Esprit] [5] Company:XXXXXXX Name:Sir Rick Serial:VUE5XXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-YYYY InstallSrc:P: Language:English VueFolderPath:I:Program Filese-on softwareVue 5 Esprit Version:501 The only additional information contained would be the Serial # for Mover 5 if you have it installed.......Nothing else.
